MF has never been anything on here other than a sound guy - he didn't have to make the comments on here and I've no reason to suspect he would be two-faced about it.Not all Millwall fans are c*nts, the same as not all Charlton fans are angels.14 -

Oooo, I was wondering when this thread would get a bump. I always like it when it does as an upturn in our form usually follows 😁
Not been the best of starts for us. But we can be notoriously bad starters. Last season we was 21st after a dozen or so games. We ended up finishing 8th and was challenging for the play offs on the final day. It’s not helped with the amount of injuries we’ve had to contend with. Neil hasn’t been able to field any sort of consistent team.
I saw a list earlier. We have had twenty players out injured this season already. About 7 or 8 are long term, the others have all missed a game or two at some point of the season. A few have been out for about half a dozen games. Key players as well. I know all clubs have to contend with injuries, but I think you’d all admit that is another level. It’s been very frustrating. You lot have started well. basic but effective football. Similar to us when we first came up. And I’d be happy to go back to playing that style if it meant a few more points on the board. Something I have noticed though, we quite often got comments on here criticising us for our direct and physical football in the past. But now NJ has got you set up in a similar fashion it seems more acceptable to a lot of you, and even welcomed in some cases. 😆 but as I said on here back before the season started, you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do to get results with the resources you have available to you. Simple as that.We finished 8th in our first season back up. Carry on the form you’re on and you could easily achieve that. Be warned though, we finished 21st in our dreaded ‘second season’. 😉
anyway, thanks for the kind words on here from some. It’s appreciated. 🙏🏼8 -

Millwall are not going to be in a relegation fight. As much as we’d like to see it that’s not going to happen. They have some players coming back from injury and truth be told the game v Coventry wasn’t a 4-0 game on the balance of play - scum played some nice stuff.
Thats not to say I didn’t enjoy Wednesday night of course. But if I was a betting man I’d still guess them to come 8-10th and us 10th to 15th0 -
We'll finish within 10 points of eachother, hopefully us above them0

That was just weird. I’ve not seen us play that disjointed and poorly since the Holloway days.2 - Sponsored links:

@MillwallFan always good to get the opposition view.
You’ve seen us a fair bit this year by now…. I am still simply aiming for 21st and above. What’s your view on us?0 -

Will be interesting to see how you get on as the season progresses and injuries kick in (we’re getting all of ours out of the way early doors lol) but I think your estimation of 10-15th won’t be far off. Such a hard league to call though isn’t it?2 -

I am probably being hamfisted about making my point.
It their fans that most need to hear the condemnation of the behaviour, particularly from a fellow fan1 -

What are they trying to prove and who to?
They are not mockney gangsters, they are an embarrassment.

Not a chance of Millwall getting relegated. Very comfortable top end mid table finish. I think their problem if it is a problem is that when they set up to play defensively they are very capable of grinding out points but when at home and are expected to be more expansive they seem not to be able to find the right balance. Their three home losses have come against Boro, Wrexham and Coventry. No real disgrace in that. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see them beat WBA this afternoon.3

I still fully expect the scum to finish above us , I’d take 8 points behind them cos we’d be safe2

Oh, and the West Brom comment aged well Douchy me old mate 😉0 -
Just out of interest @DOUCHER, will you be watching the ‘extended highlights’ of our game today like you did when we lost to Boro at home, and you had us down as relegation candidates?Having a quick glance through some of the comments that I missed while I was away, you (and Mutley) have made a lot of bold predictions about us, based on watching some highlights of our injury hit team, and a very poor half of football at yours. Will be interesting to see how they pan out. The seasons a marathon not a sprint and it’s daft to make too many predictions after half a dozen games. Just as I didn’t get too despondent after Wednesdays hammering, I won’t get too excited by today’s convincing win. The championship is a roller coaster, lots of ups and downs, just strap yourself in and enjoy the ride. 😁0

Coventry must be some side…won 5-0 today1

Doucher I like your brazenness but we haven’t a chance of finishing above the scum .
the league is very even (ponage) this year and I fear the filth might this time scrape in to the play offs3
