Hasn’t played for what looks like 3/4 years according to Wiki?
Read it again, he was on loan last in 2022 but played for Norwich until the summer. Made 23 appearances last season for them, almost all from the bench
Wouldn’t be a Nathan Jones side with an unexpected old experienced player on a short term deal. Based on his comments sees him as one of the potential wide forwards/attacking wingback role. Not sure who drops out though
Left sided so probably means Edwards is out til closer to the new year then
He can play both sides and up front but he’s more of an attacking player so not really covering Edwards role. I think it’s more likely this is to cover Godden being injured longer than expected rather than Edwards

Not really a direct replacement, unless NJ wants a VERY attacking left wing back.
We do seem over stocked with attacking players at the moment. Interestingly NJ only mentioned TC, Apter and Fullah as wide options, so must see Tanto as more of a striker.

Edwards I imagine, seeing as he's injured. Gilley to LCB, Bell to LWB, Hernandez in on the bench possibly. Probably competing with Fullah for a squad place in the next few games
If Bree/ Apter are our RWB options, we could do with an attacking option at LWB, when the situation requires, especially if Edwards is out for a while but even if he is not.
As we can see from the Bree and Burke influence , we would welcome a little more Championship experience. Nothing wrong with another option. He brings that experience, will help Apter,TC and Fullah. Brings more depth to the squad, and passes the no dickhead test (cause he seems a nice fella from his comments).
Welcome Onel, I think he is a great addition and a short deal helps both out. He will be hungry and if he proves a success I'm sure a longer deal is possible. If it doesn't work then we can look at the market again in Jan.
Ultimately he is probably fairly cheap and gives us some options. Must have trained well and is fit. Competition is good, whatever positions he ends up playing

Off down the wing

Allegedly.
Right footed, good dribbler, quick and hard working according to FM. Left or right winger but can cover LWB, attacking midfield and up front.
