    Those goals are ridiculous!, how much would he be worth in todays game?

    ...and yet I wouldn't have said goalscoring was his greatest strength, his game had so much more. I was really gutted when he left for Villa, and I cant think of another player whose departure upset me more.

    When you had Graham Stuart doing the same thing alongside him we had a formidable midfield pair.

    They were great together, Stuart was such a classy player.
    I remember when he scored the winner up at Newcastle, we were so far away from the pitch that you could only tell it was Stuart from his running style.

    Yeah, it was Gillingham, his agent ( father in law) phoned Charlton whilst in the car park at GFC, told them it was now or never. Thankfully the club came to their senses and the rest is history.

    Probably my favourite player ever, was worth two players on his own, and strangely a reason why I have a soft spot for Daniel Kanu’s Walsall.

    Because of when I started going, Paddy Powell will always be my favourite Charlton player but Kins is as close as anyone could be. So proud to have seen him play for Ireland quite a few times and a player who had the ability to take a game by the scruff of the neck and get us into it. 

    Need to get a Charlton Irish badge down to him ☘️

    Got 1905 tickets for this match so will be acting like a love sick teenager to get a photo with the man - a proper modern day legend.

    When we started the Supporters trust he was the first player to confirm he would come to the launch.and kept his word. For that alone I will always be grateful, (I think he also encouraged a few others to come, with help from the former players association) a great player and a true legend to me.
