In terms of right / left footed wingers, I hark back to the days of “Paddy” Colin Powell operating almost exclusively on the right and bending in superb crosses with his right peg, sometimes from the bye-line, which is always a deadly pass. I’d love to see TC operate like that.

Brownie sounding his usual negative stuff already...
  • Still Maynard-Brewer on the bench and no sign of Mannion.

    All very strange
  • Pissing with rain in Sheffield, slippy pitch and a quick pace will be set today...COYR you can do it today and stuff Wilder...

Wasn't Mannion included in Jones' list of injured players who will be back soon along with Godden and Berry?
  • Game not on sky today.... so  back to radio on talk sport 2, as much as I like Wilder, and think he is a very decent manager they are really 'biggin' him up. Hopefully if we can  withstand the pressure for the first 20 minutes, we have a chance. Apparently they are discussing Charlton next, be interesting to see what they have to say.

Apter dropped for his mate Bree in this system is criminal .
Apter will be on second half...
Can’t wait . This system didn’t really work in league one without a threat either side .
Yeah, but our defenders can lump the ball to our big strikers up front.

That way we can bypass midfield  :|

  • Bloody Chris Wilder, i've fu*kin' heard enough of him already, most of it from our own comms team...

I believe Bree will offer more defensively and with his height, more strength with corners at either end. Hopefully it will work well in the counter attack. With Apter coming off the bench against tiring legs could pose a threat.

This is going to be even worse than that FA Cup game up there, massive praise for the 2000 or so that have travelled there

Why on earth are we wearing a predominantly white away kit vs a side in red and white stripes and not our black third kit?
  • Well their crowd certainly seems up for it. Be great if we shit all over the chip butty eating lot and their big reunion with Wilder.

Would’ve liked to have seen Kelman drive more there

Great from Doc there to launch the counter
  • Not the worst chance for Kelman, did well to hold it up, and then get a shot away - Bit of a snatched effort though
