Yes, but doesn't the bench look strong 💪daveroan said:When o when is Knibbs going to get a look in Why buy a box to box scoring midfielder if he never gets a kick!1 -
I'm sure Kelman is bloody starving as he has been feeding off scraps so farbromleyjohn said:As a fan a point is great …as a team we can beat these but it really is down to kelman’s hunger in front of goal2 -
What about Campbell, Leaburn and Olaofe’s hunger in front of goal? Or is it just Kelman?bromleyjohn said:As a fan a point is great …as a team we can beat these but it really is down to kelman’s hunger in front of goal1 -
This isn’t L1 anymore and Sheff Utd are a recently relegated PL club. When’s the last time you saw a PL game postponed due to rain? The only Championship ground where drainage might be an issue is Wrexham but I assume the Hollywood owners will have invested into the pitchfenlandaddick said:Mostly worried about the rain. Is there good drainage in Sheffield?0 -
Will look forward to the same one this time next year when he has no Championship goals.wolfgang said:CAFC_boi said:just doesn’t have the ability.

Just seen it's a sell out for them. Several thousand more than what they had against Millwall last home game.
Playing Charlton like for so many it must feel like their cup final or something.5 -

not hopeful for this one -
2-0 Sheff0 -
We'll press early, they will hand us an early chance, we'll be 1:0 up after 7 minutes. Wilder will use the rest of the game to observe what is wrong, we will assist him with demonstration.
1:3
COYR1 -
We’ve played well and drawn and lost .. today we will play badly and win 0-1 undeservedly .0

Opinion on SkySpMain channel, Sheff U will win next 6 games starting today0
-
It'll be a tight, cagey game. Then the recalled Hamer will win it with a bit of magic.Manic_mania said:I think it's got 0-0 written all over it. Wilder won't have been able to do THAT much with them and I think his first priority will be sorting out his leaky defence so barring any defensive errors I think that's how the pattern of the match will go. I can't see how they would suddenly produce an attacking masterclass and completely wreck us like some are predicting.0 -
Anyone managed to buy a match pass on Charlton TV for this? It s not showing as available despite me logging in from France?0
-
Don’t worry. Sussed it!
apparently not available in France as they have bought the EFL rights to this game so have popped over the alps to Italy and all ok. Lucky I was close to the border 🙏🏼6 -
5 games played they have 0 points with 1 goal scored and 12 conceded. Majority of posts here are saying we're gonna get beat

I think Sheff will come at us early doors, if we can keep a clean sheet till half time, we can burst their bubble and nick it late. Its a big IF
1-0 sheff0 -
Not sure why you got a LOL. Sheff Utd have a fantastic team and Wilder is a cheat code manager in this league. We don't stand a chance tbh.AberystwythAddick said:Personally think we’re getting spanked today. Shef U are a playoff team minimum and with wilder back it adds that extra bite. Unfortunate that we had to be the first team to play them2 -

What will possibly help is the fact that Wilder has only had a few days training with the team. Sheff Utd will want to impress their new Manager, but they won't get rid of their faults / issues overnight.MrBurns said:

Waving the white flag, like many are doing, is a bit premature still1 -
40% Sheff win either by one or more
40% draw probably no goals or 1-1
20% CAFC win -we can only score 10 -
True, but Wilder already knows the players — their strengths and weaknesses. When Selles was in charge, he often played them out of position, which led to poor results. I’m just trying to be realistic about this match. We shouldn’t be overly negative, but there will be games this season where we get turned over, and this feels like it could be one of them.ForeverAddickted said:

New Manager Bounce, and the fact their squad is still miles better than ours regardless of league positionSELR_addicks said:5 games played they have 0 points with 1 goal scored and 12 conceded. Majority of posts here are saying we're gonna get beat

And many of his players are still there from last season.MrBurns said:

Not read all the posts so this will probably have already been mentioned anyway but always good practice to put up a reminder…

I'ts gonna' be tough. A draw would be a good result.1
