You see a post about the Museum’s Flickr account and you have no idea what one is.
You also don’t care what it is because you’re sick of being overtaken by technology and all the bollox that go with it.

When you go to mention that Robert Redford has died and realise none of your colleagues around you would know who he is

Singing Blur’s song Tender at Karaoke thinking it’s a modern song to a younger audience and they’ve not heard the song before.

One of my friends had that as the first dance at their wedding. It's their silver wedding anniversary next year.

That’s a regular excuse for not knowing a subject on that programme and others. It’s just an excuse for being a bit ignorant or maybe a touch of brain fog.
I wasn’t around, like most of us, for the Roman Empire but if that subject came up I would expect to be able to answer most questions, they do tend to make the questions answerable.
Wrong thread but what really annoys me about that particular programme is the contestants praise and encouragement they give each other. I’d be well annoyed if someone got half a dozen of coins over that I had set up.

I remember the Roman Empire at least you had decent roads and the trash carts knew where to stop.

The film starts at 9pm. I don’t know if I can stay awake until 11pm.
