It's bizarre why the Met just doesn't insist on keeping Millwall fans behind after games, to allow home fans to disperse.
Ridiculous that families and elderly fans aren't able to get onto the trains first, as in such games 90% of the home fans will want to clear off as soon as possible.3 -
Once you realise the police are a gang you will then realise why they operate the way the do.4

But are they a Spanner gang? The whole Met can't all be Spanners!orpingtonRED said:Once you realise the police are a gang you will then realise why they operate the way the do.0 -
Only the trouble makers1

I've been saying for years. Must be an affront to your civil liberties to not be allowed to go home after an event. Now I know the police will say its for your own safety......but if thats the case and they know there might be trouble why are they letting the "troublemakers" out when they are contained inside s stadium. And if the police then say that they fear the Millwall fans might start causing trouble by smashing up the stadium then all you have to do is nick them. Which they wont.killerandflash said:It's bizarre why the Met just doesn't insist on keeping Millwall fans behind after games, to allow home fans to disperse.

Therefore........if the answer to not being kept behind is that you might smash up the stadium then can I take it it will ok if we smash up The Den in January if we are kept back (which we will as we always are) and there wont be any comeback. And then as that will be ok, the next time we play them we will be let out first & the Millwall fans kept behind or made to take a detour route.
QED.
I'd like that to be put to anyone in charge & see what they say.

2013 we are came out of Selhurst Park and were forced to go towards Norwood Junction. In front was a massive steel wall which was through back to the 1980’s and the troubles in Belfast
As seen below it was not very well handled

Out of interest, does CAST have a police liaison officer they are in contact with throughout the season?JustFloydRoad said:

They should be a Charlton Athletic football liaison officer, each London club had one when I was the FLO at Millwall. But since it was centralised I don’t know whether some clubs are shared? Ludicrous if they are imho but football policing is not a priority for the Met unfortunately.stoneroses19 said:

I thought it was just our fans but it looks like Palace fans also had to wait for Millwall fans to leave0
