The Howard may be an option.

I’ll be there, love Sheffield. Kelham Island is class. Mr T style I pity the fools who just drink in the Globe.
IF Kelman bangs in a hat trick, can we rename it Kelman Island?

If Kelman bangs in three, Fantasy Island would be more appropriate

I'll be there for a second trip to Bramall Lane. Hoping for, but not expecting, a better result than the last time I was there in the FA Cup

Just to be clear, I spent 6 months there and just went to work and played Playstation everyday. Don't think I will be spotting too many familiar faces.

Not much has changed in that regard tbf 😂
  • I’m there. What colour are the team in? Black kit?
  • Decided this morning I wanted to keep my 100% league attendance, all booked up.

    Kelham Island is your friend.
  • On my way now. Train to Harrogate. Staying with a mate then we are down to Sheffield tomorrow. Yes. I know it’s not exactly next door but it’s closer than London and gives me a chance to acclimatise!

Harrogate, the Kensington of West Yorkshire.  A lovely place.
  • Some nice pubs there for sure

  • Bought a ticket for this last weekend but it hasn't arrived in the post.

Called the ticket office but apparently is closed even though the opening hours are 11-5. Emailed the ticket office, no response yet.

I'm wondering if I bother travelling for this if I can't get the ticket sorted. Anyone else been in a similar position before?

I am still laid up with a busted knee, almost a home game for me, straight along the Grimsby-Liverpool Pennine Express line.
Last time I was there was 10ish years ago, they beat us in the FA Cup 1/4 final

Supporters are advised that the Ticket Office will be closed for the remainder of today (Friday, September 19th) due to a localised network outage.

This means fans won't be able to make in-person purchases or purchase via the telephone. Supporters wishing to purchase tickets can still do so online and collections remain available from reception at The Valley during this time. Click here to visit the online ticketing site now.

Tickets for Saturday's trip to Sheffield United go off sale at 1pm on Friday.

Contact Sheffield United and I am sure they will take care of you.  Perhaps show them the payment transaction?

Had it once at Southend in the cup last year and got given a duplicate. I believe every ticket has a duplicate in case this happens and if not we've not sold it out anyway so I'm sure they'd be able to give you a different ticket if you have proof of purchase

Gave them a call, said they'd called our ticket office earlier on and were aware of the issues.

Just have to turn up tomorrow with the confirmation and they said they'd print a duplicate.

    Thanks for the tip

There is a cracking Wetherspoons there. Definitely one of the nicer ones anyway. Love Harrogate
