  • Really good stuff from Kaheim, just need to see him consistently do it against grown men regularly

Good goal, seeing the keeper off his line and bending it past him!

Assist a bit lucky, hitting a very deep cross but they all count
    How was the assist "lucky"?

Finds a red shirt = good cross
As in, it seemed to just be lumped into the box and over hit- but gladly fell to the teammate! Certainly would say he meant it to go to him!

Yes an assist makes it well worked out, but similarly to our current crosses - hardly pinpoint

"It's seemed" doing a lot of work there.

Or maybe they worked on deep crosses as per their 4th goal.

  • In terms of height and distance it isn't too disimilair to TC's one for Apter's goal at QPR

  • Looks like we finally found a player that can cross the ball

Please can we remember this is against an U21’s side. Dixon is not suddenly our saviour for getting a goal and assist. Kanu and Mbick  scored 40 goals a season against these kind of sides in the youth team. Dixon is an exciting prospect but he needs to be putting goals and assists in L1/Championship let alone L2 before we get excited about him.

So what is the point of this partnership?

Are young kids in Woolwich/Greenwich not better than Dixon?. I believe they are and I don't really get this link up

Think the point is that eventually there will be a player that comes along in Jamaica that will be quality and when that happens we will be able to identify them first before other clubs rather than fighting with other London clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal etc for players from the local area. Even a player like Dixon although I can’t see him ever breaking into the first team we picked him up for peanuts we can still likely turn a good profit on a player like him.

It's actually ridiculous when you look it at .
Dixon is good. But so is my mate
  • He's 20, 18 months ago he was barely playing pro football, now he's scoring goals and creating assists in a League 2 side whilst on loan from a Championship side.

If he came through our academy people would be clamouring for him to return in January and lead our attack in the Championship. Let's not write him off already, and similarly let's not paint up other players out on loan as the Second Coming

A bit early to say that, he’s still very young and this is his first season in senior football in this country.

Our academy is very good but that shouldn’t stop us signing promising young players from elsewhere.

  • I know that it's only league two, but it's very encouraging that both him and Kanu are doing well.

If they continue to do well then i'd like to see both bumped up to league one ahead of potentially returning to us (whenever that may be). Both are still only 20, so even if they're in league one next season ahead of a return to us in summer 2027, they'd still be very young.
Can’t do that with Kanu this season anyway but I think both need a stable year in one place anyway, if Kanu keeps playing well you assume both will be playing for their country too.

It’s not impossible to go from L2 to the Champ, Kanu has the best chance as he’s already more established and Godden won’t get younger. Dixon needs as much senior football as his body can take

    Yeah i was thinking:

    25-26 - League two
    26-27 - League one
Summer 27 good pre-season with us ready for the Championship (hopefully we haven't been relegated). They will still only be 22 by then.
  • Asiimwe is an example of a player who was deemed "not good enough" by some fans.

But he had a good season last year in L2 and is now he's doing well in L1.

Who knows how much further he may or may not progress.
