Who do you detest most?

Watched the penalty shoot out between Palace and Millwall. Wanted Palace to win. Detest both but the ranking is clear!

Unless you live or were brought up west of Beckenham, I honestly can never understand how it is even debatable

I wanted Millwall to win that, simply because Palace could feasibly win the Carabao Cup.

    I just messaged my mates.
The scum beat the true scum 4-2 on pens.
  • Millwall. Next.

My formative Charlton years were at Selhurst, and know the odd nice Millwall fan (he can't help who his Dad took him to support) so it's a lot closer for me than some of you. General preference is lots of bookings and sendings off, and Palace to just squeak through as it's less of a scalp for them to beat Millwall than the other way round

    Seconded, no contest.

Them winning the cup last season was probably the worst day of my life football wise.

Palace. If you grew up near the Valley you probably know Millwall fans, you might even be friends with them. That means you know that, despite all the nonsense, they aren’t the reprobates that they themselves and the media portray them to be. Not sure I’ve ever actually met a Palace fan in real life so all I actually know are the Selhurst years alongside the horrendous plastic “fan culture” and limited grasp of both history and geography they’ve developed in the last decade or so.

Palace, definitely, but we've discussed this before so I'm not going into it again.
  • Palace are a ignorant you can swat away, Millwall is pure hatred with a passion

silly question - millwall - despite having lots of mates and acquaintances who are millwall, i detest everything about them as a club - its a bit like being able to put it to one side if somebody votes conservative

Detest is a strong word but it is certainly Millwall for me.

I was historically always a little indifferent to Palace and, although their long period in the Premier League has been very irritating, Millwall’s scummy supporter element really do take the biscuit. They have a deeply repugnant element in their support and macho thuggery is baked into their DNA. A plague on their house.

There is no other team where I would conceivably be pleased to hear of a Crystal Palace win on penalties but tonight was such a night.

I think Saturday reinforced that a lot of them absolutely are the reprobates they and the media portray them to be.  They will definitely have some normal, decent fans among them, two of them contribute on here and from how they post you know they’re decent chaps, but as was evidenced on Saturday, they still a very high concentration of scum amongst them.

  • Bermondsey Scum, no other answer.
I'm still having therapy for Les Brileys 30 yarder at Selhurst all those years ago.

Baffling why anyone would not think Millwall. If the weekend did not come us a timely reminder to them, then nothing would change their minds
  • Millwall easily. I've known far more Palace fans than Millwall fans, but then I've never worked in Belmarsh.
