Good to have some away fans at the fixture.Rangers have done well and nullified Celtic
not as mad and fiery as previous encounters hopefully it will ignite soon0 -

Great advert for Scottish football this.
About the only excitement is when a goalie and a centre back gets confused as to who will clear the ball after another awful pass forward from the opposition.0 -
That was a poor game, but decent result for Rangers to steady the ship slightly after the debacle in midweek.1
-
Be surprised if Russell Martin lasts much longer0

Poor game all round, Celtic didn’t seem to want to attack, until towards the end of the match. Both teams remain unbeaten for the league season.1
-
Awful think both teams in a rut.0

An outcome to please neither side although, as the away team, Celtic will be slightly happier with the result if not the performance.1

Maybe the real winner today was Hearts4

Henry Irving said:Watching the game last night and Ally McMoist and the commentators were scathing of Rangers, their recruitment especially but also their tactics, style of play and commitment.
They also criticised the Scottish bubble that, as they said, means whoever wins the Old Firm game on Sunday will likely view things as being alright despite the two defeats in Europe this week.
The Celtic board will use the defeat, IMHO, as an excuse to not spend more money while the Rangers board will hang on to Martin until November at which point an "Ibrox legend" will come in to appease the fans who will get a dead cat bounce but no lasting improvement.
Meanwhile Hearts under Tony Bloom will get stronger.0 -

Brugge may well be half decent, but there's a difference between losing to them and losing 9-1 on aggregate and them going easy on you as they are 6-0 up just after half time.0 -
Anyone following Celtic or Rangers will always know how the other team is doing as that is all they have to think about2

Nice of rangers to play simply the best before the game for Celtic.1

Hearts currently 9 points clear of Rangers and 3 above Celtic albeit having played a game more.3 -
Very soft pen at the death but Celtic go top on goal difference.2

Take your pick really, people don't need to support Rangers to dislike a club like that. 99% of people don't give a fuck about Scottish football because it's absolutely awful, but they will still dislike Celtic.
Rangers are pro-British so i think most English will naturally prefer them over Celtic anyway but for me personally it's because when i was a young kid in the late 80s, Rangers signed a lot of English players because English clubs were banned from Europe so i was always more drawn to them. Bit of a stretch to say i'm a supporter though, it makes no difference to my life whether Rangers win, lose or draw and I've never even been to Ibrox.
Why do you support Celtic?5 - Sponsored links:

First team I followed when I was a kid due to the greatness of the Lisbon Lions and a tricky winger called Jimmy Johnstone. I played winger for the school and Kent schools.
Clearly living in north Kent and a kid I couldn't see their games hence why I was taken to Charlton. When I lived in Scotland I saw them numerous times in between following my local team Cowdenbeath.
When I lived there no-one I knew hated Celtic singularly. Those that did were rangers fans or they hated them both with aplomb.
That's why I don't believe anyone hates them who isn't a rangers fan.
And that view won't change.2 -
I restate my allegiance.
I hope that a third force emerges in Scotland to properly rival both of them although I normally prefer Celtic to Rangers.
The exception being that I was pleased Gerrard blocked the ten in a row being achieved because unlike Jock Stein in my view it wasn't a genuine football achievement because of Rangers relegations.
Hearts beating Rangers is actually a really bad result for Celtic and should be celebrated by most football fans who want to see genuine competition north of the border.
It is clear the men from Ibrox cannot challenge for the title this season and the fact that they always try harder in the Old Firm games will probably mean the Hoops drop more points against them as they already have.
If Hearts take maximum points against Rangers and hold there own versus Celtic it could make for an interesting challenge as long as they maintain a good record against the lower ranked teams.1 -
I'd love anyone but Celtic or Rangers to win it. Hibs are my preferred side up there but genuinely anyone but those two given it would be a refreshing change.

It would be more entertaining and improve Scottish clubs chances in Europe if there were two, three, four or more clubs battling for the title.
And it would actually take pressure off Rangers and Celtic as they wouldn't be expected to win it every year and there would be less bitterness if they missed out to Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen etc than to each other.
But as Aberdeen proved last year a good start doesn't guarantee a good finish.
Hearts seem better set up to maintain the pressure of the long term ie five years that other non-old firm clubs at the moment.4 -

Someone's obsession with me is getting a bit creepy....0

How much longer will Rangers give Martin? Almost feels like they need to put him out of his misery but the board aren't willing to admit the level of fuck up they've made.0
