    That must be one of the highest referee scores, especially for a game where we didn't win, and had a player sent off!

    24/25:Stevenage H : 7.35, ref Josh Smith
               Huddersfield H: 7.53, ref Bourne

    23/24: Derby A: 7.06, ref J.Simpson

    I think that is because yesterday we did a lot of punting the ball long to kelman who never got a sniff.on the ground our pass success was not bad

    I thought that Madley refereed the game very well and, unlike many of his colleagues, he didn't spend an age talking to the players at every corner or set play - his communication seemed to be clear and succinct. Two other things he was very hot on were the new 8 second rule for goalies and ensuring the throw ons were taken in the right place. The latter was a real bugbear for me last season, although on Saturday we could have done with a more tolerant attitude to some time wasting.

    I was suffering from some brain fog when doing these stats and just had didn't feel like doing anything else, I hope it will return after the  next match.
