Look at last year when it finally all clicked in to place.I have a mate who is a big Luton fan and he said their promotion season it took 3 months or so for it to all come together, and I think that considering we have 5 points and it still doesn’t look as knitted together as we know jones will want it to be, we have a lot to be positive about. There are much worse teams in this league than us already, and I genuinely think there’s much more to come from us when jones finally gets it all to come together
If we already had that "gelling" in place we could easily be sitting on 10 points and in the top 8.
I also saw some signs that we were trying to play to Kelman's strength's - you saw twice we tried to pop it in behind, first time, with a clear instruction.
I also think NJ loves us, genuinely loves us as as club and KNOWS what we can be.
I have some very bullish thoughts over the next few years which I won't verbalise, but I think for the first time in many many years I think we are on the up in a real way.
No chance we go down.4 -

I'm not sure Coventry can blamed here. There are 3 of ours around two of theirs, if anyone should be closer it's Doc. CC then can't just do nothing and has to come across to the immediate danger, which unfortunately leaves space for them after the parry.0 -
Posting for first time since the game - such an up and down game in terms of emotions. Would have taken a point beforehand, then at half time it felt like we were comfortably the better side. Then second half (and especially after the red card) I felt like we were hanging on waiting for the inevitable.
Main thing for me is I think on the whole we have looked decent this season. We have played well, if a bit toothless up front. We have signed good players and our others have broadly stepped up.
But we only have five points. And the worry is that we only have five points whilst playing pretty well with Sheff Utd away to come who are about to sack their manager so thats only gonna go one way.
We need to get a couple of wins under our belts and after the Sheff Utd game there are plenty of opportunities we have to take.3 -
I think some posters need to take a deep breath. The truth is we were competitive against a team that's spanked us time after time for as long as I can remember and several players with question marks over their ability to play at this level are proving their doubters wrong. Overall the positives are outnumbering the negatives and realistically that's all we can hope for.6

If only we had the midfield player to slide in a pass like they did yesterday. Kelman would have scored first time.
Oh well.

Well reading through all this has been predictable.
Millwall do as they say on the tin, and they are a can of cnuts.
Yet, still our football club and the police cow tau to this lot, time and time again. Keep the away crowd penned and once the home crowd has dispersed, walk them to the station/buses whatever. Standard practice in UK football for decades, ever since grown men have used a football match as an excuse to behave like rabid animals.
This fixture never fails to leave a bad taste, one or more incidents on or off the pitch that leave me cold. A point is a point and from here I can gather we were up for it against a mediocre Millwall team, albeit with key players out, for once.
It's been a bit of a blessing we have not played these wnakers regularly over the years, with all the furore over the event each time.
BUT. There is always the nagging hope, the imagining that this will be our year. Long may we play them, but please treat them for what they are, scum.6 -

Yes, pass of the match was the one that set up the shot Kaminski parried for their goal. In a split second we go from containing the situation to being in big trouble. We'll look at how we could have defended better despite the Ramsay sized hole, and reacted better to the shot and follow-up. But sometimes there's a good piece of play that goes against you. Moments of pure composure to pick out a great pass when the opportunity presents itself, that's what we could add. Hopefully this comes with more playing time together.0 - Sponsored links:

I loved the fire work display from a house in Charlton Lane when we scored10

Cannot argue either of Ramsay’s yellows, especially the second, no idea what he was thinking. Just let the play go.Nathan Jones panicked. Should have left Campbell or Apter on, absolutely no outlet, it was inevitable they’d score at that point. They couldn’t handle Campbell at all, he was brilliant, suicidal to substitute him.Leaburn either isn’t interested, is lazy, or injured. Absolutely zero effort to close the initial attack down which led to their goal. I would be he’s off in January and that a deal is already done.
I said earlier that the subs were all wrong. No pace left on the pitch & Leaburn still looks like his father, but without the heading ability.7 -
Has anyone got the footage of Ramsay's first yellow offence?
I'm convinced it wasn't a yellow.0 -

It was. The ref booked Crama moments earlier for a similar offence. The ref was consistent.0

Thinking ahead of Sheff Utd - we are gonna be under pressure from the start. Wilder likely back, ground rocking and then charging in at us from the start.
I think I would bring in Burke to sit alongside Jones and Bell. And also Bree to go RWB for a bit more solidity. Not sure if it will be a game for Apter.

At one moment in the 2nd half Miles had 4 players around him after Ramsay had an 'early bath' and the impressive TC was subbed.
I'm just not convinced going so defensive was a good idea as they were always going to have chances as they threw players forward and our players were put under the cosh suddenly looked uncertain who was picking up the subs especially their goal scorer who could and should've had a brace.
It's Nathan's gig but I would have liked to see Leaburn have a player nearer to him as his footwork was excellent.
Obviously we had to be slightly defensive with 10 players but by being attack against defence who didn't think they would score at least once.
Gutted for all our players other than one.

Watching it back on Sky this morning (I know, I'm a glutton for punishment) and we really did dominate them first half, and were completely comfortable until the red card. If Ramsay doesn't get sent off we win the game fairly easily IMO

I would play Miles & Charlie and also give Harvey a start.

The player marks are interesting, and usually there's some insightful comments that help me make sense of the game after the event. As one of my favourite posters, over the years, though a bit quieter of late (hope all is well), I'd love to know how you got to these marks @Viewfinder - as i am baffled tbh

Is this a real quote? Because he seemed to be pretty supportive of Kayne in the clips I heard.0 -

If he does take the job I hope he leaves it until Thursday or Friday so he will have little time to influence anything.1 -
For all those not convinced by TC, compare him to Tom Fellowes, £8m-£10m.0

Terrible away fans btw as per, heard better support from Northampton, Oxford United, Wycombe etc. Didn't make a peep until Ramsay got sent off and then just did their usual nonsense when they got their usual gifted hoodoo.
3000 of them and can't even generate an atmosphere for a London Derby.12 -

Very poor overall, and def in the category of "Sing when we're drawing", but keep schtum otherwise, and yes we don't like 'em either...0 -
