Were there any announcements in the ground regarding the post-match, police-ordered, arrangements? If there were then I didn't hear them and if there weren't any, why not?
Nope. Only BDL at the end of the game.
Didn't hear that but then hearing anything being announced, at the back of the CE upper, is nigh on impossible.
I've asked @greenwichpolice on X on how they think their policing of the game went yesterday. I doubt I'll get an answer.
Great. More of that, everybody. They need to feel that we are not going to just shrug and move on. however wonder if you used a dud address? It’s @MPSGreenwich
Maybe contacting this department might be beneficial.
The United Kingdom Football Policing Unit, UKFPU, are a team of police officers and police staff, dedicated to supporting police forces and partner agencies to ‘reduce incidents of football related anti-social behaviour, violence and disorder involving UK supporters’.
What the UKFPU does
The UKFPU gives advice, assistance and training to all police forces in England and Wales to provide a consistent approach to football events. The unit also provides the football arrest figures that are published annually by the Home Office.

There was an announcement towards the end of the game, but hardly audible. The lack of communication by the club is inexcusable & probably deliberate, it appears to me that the club are only interested in selling tickets, they do not want people to have any information that would deter them from purchasing tickets such as train disruptions, parking restrictions & police ordered diversions etc. Where as Millwall posted clearly on their website on Friday, the policing arrangements & train alterations for Saturday.
I'm not surprised that Millwall announced it, seeing as their fans were being treated like royalty. The only thing missing was the red carpet!
The thing about the club’s handling of the pre-match comms is that either there was a deliberate decision to do the minimum possible to publicise it or the club did not regard it as important information.
Either way, that process needs to be interrogated and explained. Where was the senior management? If an instruction was given to play it down that person should be sacked.
Another point, with police directing thousands of fans to Charlton Lane you'd have thought they might have shut the road to traffic around 2pm.
I agree this was negligent. Typically you need an advertised traffic order to close a road, I believe, but the police must have public safety powers. It was an obvious hazard. They also need to explain why officers did not seem to be aware of their own agreement to allow limited access to Ransom Walk.

This photo has really wound me up. Not one of them c***s would have a proper straightner 1 on 1. Proper small dick energy.
You have to question the intelligence of grown men setting about people who want no part of it !! Anyone that can be traced via this photo should get a lifetime football ban
I booked parking in Asda until 3. Got back to the car at 15:03 because of this shitshow Can I use the METs piss poor shambles of an exit strategy as an excuse when the ticket arrives?

Didn’t we have a fan, who after they equalised ran across corner of pitch and started fighting with Millwall fans in corner of Jimmy Seed
also, seen video of one of the mouthy ones in east stand actually being a spurs fan giving it to Millwall
No it was a Scum fan trying to celebrate with them and get into the JS after they equalised but given their fans are essentially the missing link they just started swinging anyway
Don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere but I was out quickly at the end through the gate by the Media Centre, amazed to see two mounted police by Ransom Walk, with WPC on one horse charging at the leaving crowd and shouting 'Get back'. Was able to exit along Harvey Gardens towards the 'appointed route' but dozens behind the Covered End walking towards Floyd Rd, presumably oblivious of 'publicised' exit route.
The term WPC was dropped years ago
OK police officer (female) on horse...poor policing whatever the correct term.
It was clear coming out after the game yesterday that plenty (hundreds) had no clue about the Floyd road closure as there were just as many people walking towards me as there were walking away
shite organisation all round and I doubt it’ll be any different next season
my guess is that the post match threads will read pretty identical
I left the North Lower after our players applauded us. Harvey Gardens was packed solid and unsafe in my opinion. If someone had stumbled and fallen it would have been a serious situation. Shuffled up to junction of Charlton Lane and went down towards crossing. Why did they keep Charlton Lane open to traffic ? A car was stationary on the crossing between the open gates with nowhere to go. Cars behind and a wall of pedestrians in front. I could see the look of terror on the drivers face yet 2 Police officers at the crossing doing nothing about the situation. I hope Network Rail or whoever were remotely monitoring what was going on and prepared to be holding trains if need be.
Are we the only home fans in this Country to have had these restrictions put in place after a home game ? And I mean treated as away fans.

First I heard was after I got into the upper West around midday.
I'll admit I didn't look on here on Friday as was having a day at the races.
2 stewards & a supervisor with no radio?
