We don't want genuine Charlton fans not coming to games just because the authorities can't figure out how to handle 3000 away fans.R0TW said:
If that was my parents, I would have gave it an hour. What did you expect? A parting of the waves?sam3110 said:
Because my mum and dad are limited in mobility and have a blue badge, so were entitled to go that way as per the instructions.valleynick66 said:
Question. Why were you there to witness that and not walk down Harvey Gardens as requested? I exited the West Stand and it was clear you couldn’t use the normal gate by the shop.sam3110 said:
All too busy arguing with people in wheelchairs and on crutches that they need to go the long way or wait half an hour for them to reopen Floyd Road!TootingRedArmy said:Well that went to plan, just two stewards on the gate between Jimmy Seed stand and East Stand. Punches thrown between the fence, stuff thrown by both fans. Then Millwall fans forced the gate and a few fights broke up going up the steps. One Charlton fan shouted "this is a family stand". All the planning, where were stewards and police on this section of the stadium to stop this flash point.
Lets face it many deliberately went the wrong’ way and of course some didn’t know because of the poor comms by the club.
Not that I have to answer to you...
No reason our fans of any age should have to avoid a game because they can't walk a mile to avoid police restrictions.8 -
It’s common sense mate. FFS what did you generally expect from today’s game? Fuck pre match advice, you had to have a plan B.4
-
Never understood the attitude of: "I'm going to go to a game of Football, and have a fight, because that bloke supports another Football team"12

I think having limited mobility also limits the plan Bs availableR0TW said:It’s common sense mate. FFS what did you generally expect from today’s game? Fuck pre match advice, you had to have a plan B.7 -
I sit at the back of E block, so this was right near me. Isn't that box the Valley Gold box, meaning the only people sat in it should have been 4 Valley Gold members (as well as their +1s), or have they stopped doing that or are using a different box this season?Uboat said:
I was four rows in front of that box. A load of aggressive wankers giving it the big un to the hardcore ultras of Curbs E block. How the hell is that allowed to happen?killerandflash said:
Plus a box full of Millwall fans right behind me. It got nasty when they scored, but no steward support or police came.oohaahmortimer said:
Scum just accidentally going out the wrong exit .
And when they went through the gate to confront Charlton supporters exiting the Curbs stand, barely a steward and again no police.
Plenty of police standing in front of the police box doing nothing though.
I didn't see a Millwall fan dragged out and taken to the away end as I was focusing on the game. All I saw was stewards protecting the Millwall fans by holding some Charlton fans back.0 -

The video of it is bloody embarrassing. Two stewards. A handful of Charlton fans. A couple of which acted like idiots.
a bunch of Millwall, some of which were attacking one Charlton fan at the end.
Just imagine if that gate separated our more up for it fans from them rather than the fans we have in the east stand. (Admin I can edit out the video from this post if you don't think it should be shared on this forum)

I retract my everton liverpool rivalry statement 😂1

@MillwallFan enough aggro and damage for you? Think it’s time to pay up.Karim_myBagheri said:The video of it is bloody embarrassing. Two stewards. A handful of Charlton fans. A couple of which acted like idiots.

This is horrible. I hope the fan who got a punch there makes a complaint to the club. Shocking policing.TootingRedArmy said:

Some absolutely appalling images shown, action has to be taken after this, can’t see them ever being given a full allocation again.12
-
I am baffled how this gate was able to be opened. Surely it is normally locked.1

Bloke who is clearly not about all that in glasses holding his hands up to show he's not interested gets a clump. If that's what their lot are about these days deary me. Breaking into a stand housed by mainly scarfer types and clearly significantly outnumbering those who are up for it.
Puts to bed all that bollocks about bullshit romanticised honour and code and nonsense that gets rolled out in the hoolie wanksfest films. Get up to the woods with like minded people, pay a subsidy to the NHS to sort you out afterwards or go to a boxing club and leave the rest of us to get on with the game ffs.
Tragic, inadequate people. Bullies42 -
They'll just claim they're pashunate Millwall fans, which I feel is turning into a banter like word, for people to disguise being a bit of a twatRodneyCharltonTrotta said:Curb_It said:

Am also a bit embarrassed by those Charlton fans giving it large when the gates were closed, bet they ran like shit when they were forced open.
We both have a moronic contingent, just Millwall much much more so12 -
Ridiculous amount of West Ham fans in the Millwall end again14

The blokes giving it the big un behind closed gates should have accepted what they generated. Not the poor fucker who didn’t want to know.
That little group who encouraged it should have remained and dealt with what they sparked, not run and left an innocent bloke to come second.
No rights or wrongs, but the small Charlton group enticed that.17 -

Some innocent non-trouble normal with his hands up shouting it’s a family stand about to cop one.TootingRedArmy said:
They must be so proud. Look at the other photos they were rushing to, at the top of the stairs a dad, his 13yr old and 4 teenagers, and to the left a couple of blokes in their 70s. May have been a couple our side that didn’t help things but you’re talking about a couple not a baying mob.

There's a guy coming up the stairs in that video who looks about 80 years old. What a pathetic club. Fans are absolute dregs of the earth.
