Leaburn doesnt possess pace or a quick turn but he set up TC for a chance single handely towards the end. Like his dad a good footballing brain at this level. He, like Kelman will never be prolific scoreres the way our team is set up.
If we set the team up in a different way and we will concede a hatfull of goals.

Our midfield was our strongest part of the team today. Millwall got virtually nothing through the centre of the pitch

Funny, I felt the ref was pretty good actually, wasn't getting drawn into all the falling over tactics of "The Mob" from SE16, can't say their name...
We turned up today and should have won. Showed arsehole/ bottle all across the pitch even down to TC who I've questioned on that front before today. Rash moment from our best consistent player in Ramsay but that's forgivable as that happens to every club in every derby.
Gutted that the story reverted to form but great atmosphere and tension til the end and have missed that. Felt like a different sport seeing the Valley packed and the atmosphere after years of bore fests in League one.
Staying up is my goal this season and that team have more than enough bollocks to do that and all put it on the line today.
Well done Charlton and let's carry that passion and grit into the next few games.
Great derby atmosphere- from our side at least....Millwall were very loud on the walk to the ground and it's a pretty good sight to be in the middle of that with your boy wearing a Charlton shirt and a good example for my 8 year old what a proper football atmosphere is about. Thought they were quiet during the game until the inevitable script kicked in with their last minute equaliser and could sense they were probably apprehensive as don't think they showed much on the pitch today albeit they have a good few injuries.
Onwards and upwards and Nathan Jones now has a few months to try and work out how to break the hoo doo at their place.
We have the foundations of a good side and it just needs to click. Bottom 3 teams look abysmal so far so we need to pick up a few wins and stay up and this season will be a massive success.

A galliant effort. We didn't lose which was a distinct possibility after Ramsay's moment of madness. Thought we were much the stronger and would've won that comfortably. Stand out performances from Campbell and Carey. On the negative side I thought Apter looked very league one today. Struggled with the pace and in particular the time you get on the ball. More concerning for me is Kelman. Doesn't bust a gut does he. I think it was Carey bombing into the box and Kelman was ambling along a fair way behind him. He's under a bit of pressure. I get it and this side hardly creates a multitude of chances. But I'm yet to see him have the Godden ability of making something happen when it's not falling in your lap.
When draws feel like defeats #1632. So frustrating, but we've seen worse before. Trying to remain positive so here goes: We didn't lose. Everyone put in a shift. We were the best team for the vast bulk of the match. Kelman and Carey had what I think are their best performances for us. The latter seems to be developing a good understanding with Apter. Campbell had his best game for a while and ran them ragged. They've got nothing to boast about, their team and their fans were poor. If we keep playing like that, the results will start coming. Two of our next three matches are against teams beneath us so we have the opportunity to give ourselves some breathing space.
Thought we played very well from defense to midfield and overall deserved the win. But very few chances created and Kelman on his own up there was never going to do much. Leaburn got more joy because he was bigger against their guys. The sending off was clearly decisive although they were a little stronger by then. Great atmosphere and the wait to beat them goes on. But, as others have said, this is all great progress in this division. We are playing like a real Championship team and in our first season this is critical.
Harvery Gardens is absolutely rammed so good luck trying to get away.

Didn't understand why Ramsey opted to take a step back when the ball was there for the taking before his stupid tackle.
He didn't realise where the ball was after his first tackle. Bizarelly this happend a few times today. Edwards in particular seemed to be blindly scanning the air for the ball shortly after challenges.
Have to be happy with that with what we've all witnessed before.
Thought TC was actually great and Kelman excellent, did everything he could - completely wasted tho with no-one up front with him.
Can't see why on earth Mannion has been replaced on this keeper's current showing.. he must be fuming or sold.
Thought both sets of fans were absolutely abysmal vocally. Early kick-off is no excuse. Whenever the awful (imo) drum stopped, a rare chance to sing something other than the clappy-clappy stuff... there was nothing! Very subdued. Two decent renditions of VFR and that's it. Unbelieveably the Spanners were first heard after they equalised.
If Millwall had got a winner I would have won almost £400. Luckily the inevitable equaliser more-or-less covered the cost of my bets. Always worth insurance betting whenever we play the inbreds.
Can't bring myself to slag Ramsey too much as he's done so well for us so often. Kelman is going to be a complete waste of money though if we don't play to his strengths.

Easily the best Charlton performance against Millwall in a very, very long time. Well on top for most of the game, especially the first half, should have made it count more at 1-0 up.
Cannot argue either of Ramsay’s yellows, especially the second, no idea what he was thinking. Just let the play go.
Nathan Jones panicked. Should have left Campbell or Apter on, absolutely no outlet, it was inevitable they’d score at that point. They couldn’t handle Campbell at all, he was brilliant, suicidal to substitute him.
Leaburn either isn’t interested, is lazy, or injured. Absolutely zero effort to close the initial attack down which led to their goal. I would be he’s off in January and that a deal is already done.

The first half we were great and the 2nd when we expected them to come at us was pretty even till they had numerical advantage.
