HT 1-0, and a well deserved first half lead given to us after a lovely half volley from Carey just inside the 18yard line...more of the same second half should see us home tonight...1
-
Kelmans best half for us so far, some really nice touches and battling hard just needs a goal and he’ll kick on.20
-
Great first half for us. The longer we're in front, the more they will have to come out and leave holes for us to exploit with our pace.3

HT 1-0
The universe is wobbling because its fundamental laws are being stretched to the very limit.
Carey and RApter have owned the right side and Tupac has had their right back on toast almost every single time.
The Millwall centre backs have looked iffy defending the high and long balls, leaving them to the keeper who has to keep clearing from outside his box.
The skipper has done well in midfield ... it's just a shame that we keep persisting with the hoofballs up to Kelman. He's put pressure on the centre backs but not really getting near the ball ... and that ain't his fault.
Who dares to dream this is the day?3 -
14 crosses we had in which 0 were successful according to sky stats.0
-
We need to bully them a bit more in the box but overall I think we're playing very well considering who we're playing.0
-
Deserved the lead, we need to keep the ball on the floor more... Both Campbell and Kelman are making things problematic for their back line and Goalkeeper, which helps because his distribution is shit... and so giving us a throw further up the pitch.
But its also giving a platform for Millwall to build from when it doesn't work... not to mention our best play has come from our more patient build up...e.g. the Apter chance that led to the goal.
Passing from both sides has been sporadic at times though, and hasn't screamed Championship quality on occasions.
Millwall don't have the advantage of going into the second half, protecting a lead with their fans behind them either, which I imagine was part of their plan as well to switch us... Whereas we do!!3 -
I mean, we’re winning vs. Millwall and are, overall, good value for it, I think, so hard to conclude that was anything but a good half. I think it’s been more like Watford or Bristol City than QPR, which is encouraging. The midfield has been industrious and Kelman is having his best game so far.I think we need a second though. Millwall haven’t really worked Kaminski much yet but I do think they’ve stretched us defensively more than anyone so far this season so we need to find a way to better contain what they are doing or it is inevitable they will make one or two of those openings into a clearer cut chance eventually.3

Excellent half. Made Millwall force everything in front of our goal so far and it's not been coming off for them. The midfield have been strong and across the team the passes are crisper and more accurate. Docherty and TC are playing good passes instead of sending them wayward, Kelman looks sharp and is running the channels when he can. TC is pressing everything, Carey is finding so many gaps and Kaminski has looked imperious. Apter is seeing a lot of the ball but he hasn't done anything of quality on it yet, hopefully he'll have that moment before he makes way for Bree. Going to be a tough second half. We'll be kicking towards the Jimmy Seed but hopefully we can make it as hostile as possible for Millwall attacking our end and see it out. Still Tanto, Leaburn and Knibbs to come on as the game wears on so let's keep it tight and get a second as they tire. COYR!2

Good performance, great goal. They are nothing much. We can do this. Come on you Addicks!0

Good half of football. Hoping we can maintain the work rate and get the finishers on to see out the job.Watching from home - did anyone else notice that NJ is still wearing Castore wear, Reebok won’t be happy!0

Basically everyone on the pitch bar Apter is having an excellent game and he was unlucky to not grab a goal out of nothing, keep it up for another 45 lads. Coburn looks their biggest threat for me1
-
So far two teams playing without any preconceptions. Love it that Millwall got booed off by their fans. lets hiope the half time riot act dont spur them.1
-
Really positive half. Need to neaten up a bit, but overall good to see positive and quick intent. Keep the pressure on and keep communicating and we'll be grand for the second half. Don't sit back and protect the lead after 50min please.0

I thought that was a very good half -
A bit blunt with crosses
but what a goal from Carey!
Crowd fantastic -
Some lovely moments from Kelman - his pass out wide from tight was brilliant
Apter needs to just up the quality a bit
Overall we finally got a goal!
1 more and the Valley will be in raptures2 -
Apter getting no change out of his defender but instead of going round his man he shoud play inside to carey. I can see us getting another as the spaces open up later.1

You’d think Millwall will play better than that second half. Really poor.
I hope we keep going for them not sitting back.2 -
Beginning to wonder if we've actually managed to trick the Universe... We've already lost to Cambridge, managed by MILLWALL Legend: Neil Harris.
Has the Universe been fooled into thinking that the usual Millwall result has been completed this season?4 -
We have tried the ball over the top for Kelman too - in the pocket between the CB and Keeper and it's caused chaos and uncertainty -
If we get the release right Kelman could well get in behind
Come on you reds!!!2 -

Unfortunately when he's tried to do that he's either overhit the pass or put it straight into the defender.
They're working well together though.0 -
Who picked this hold music for half time on CharltonTV? It’s 6:30 fucking am here - I’m not not interested in banging house beats at this time of day!4

Terrible half of football. Felt like I was watching L1 again. Good finish for your goal though.Think you boys have got this one. We don’t look like scoring in a month of Sundays and some of the mistakes we’re making are criminal.6

The prison bus brings the Millwall inmates out for the second half ...
And here come their warders.0 -
Not sure about these Millwall subs: Harris, Cahill, Sheringham all on?1
