Small with a great smile on his face the moment he starts talking about Charlton, said it was a low point in his career before he joined us.0
-
Christ thats a lightweight frontline, ready to be bullied.
Hope that isn't the case but we will see.
Loss 2 games on the trot so might have been to try some of the new recruits.0 -

Prove us wrong Kelman and TC 🙏🏻1 -
Think it a mistake starting TC seeing as he's been half way around the world & played a match in midweek.
Better off starting Oalafe against his old side. But then NJ didn't learn from the QPR match when he should have started Kelman.
No wonder why our players never score against their old sides.....they never get to start ffs !0 -
Oh I do love Paul Heckingbottom, saying that budgets are overrated - He can be a Charlton Manager in the future!!0
-
That lineup says to me we aren’t going to play long ball and let their CB’s dominate loads of aerial duels. I want to see balls into Kelmans feet for him to flick round the corner for TC or Apter to run onto. If that happens or not is a different question4

SKY turning their attention to our game, after the break.0

Really want to see TC run at Leonard, bloke is 33 and slow so a real opportunity there3

Millwall are a poor team, especially this one. Have faith in NJ, he has a plan for this match and is one of the numerous managers we have had over the past 15 years who understands the importance of this game to the fans. A comfortable win for us playing most of the second half against 10 men. Keep the faith.1

I presume Anderson is still suspended for a straight red.1

Alex Neil is too calm - talking like he's had an edible3

I have been to nearly every single Charlton/Millwall game since we last beat them 29yrs ago
In my life time, Charlton have played Millwall 40 times and beat them 6, I would guess I have seen 2 of those wins (33%) yet the vast bulk of the losses/draws (probably 80% of them). I am the Jonah. And I am off to Chiswick for lunch (gutted completely not to be at The Valley but there was no getting out of it).
To sum up the above. We will win, handsomely... because I won't be there.
Kelman to get off the mark, TC to terrorise them - having come through our academy this game will mean a lot to him I reckon and give him an extra few %.

I hope NJ does what Chris Powell did in the away match. Play 11 men behind the ball, it did work.0

Feeling optimistic this morning. 1-1 draw0

In the Bugle. My daughter, who has been to quite a few games, has just revealed that she has NEVER seen us lose.4

ForeverAddickted said:Campbell clearly being utilised for his pace in this team... No one can rival him in the 20-man squad for that role really.
Whether the fact he's flown around the world these last few weeks, with limited time at Sparrows Lane, will have an effect remains to be seen.
But I mean... If his team mates dont know how he plays now etc., there is a greater issue at hand3 -

With Bree on the bench at least we shouldn’t see TC having to move to RWB3

There's too much being made of TC making a return international flight. Some people get jetlag, others don’t. When I was his age I slept like a baby on long haul flights. I was full of energy still. Meanwhile, one time, I flew with a guy who felt awful and had constipation for a week after landing.
Everyone’s different . TC is probably fit, enthused by his time in Jamaica, and raring to go. And quite possibly it is he, not Small, that really hates Millsmall.5 -
Nathan sticking to his guns, BUT still seems unsure who is his go-to striker .. Millwall playing a 4 4 2, back to the future ?
Good referee today and he'll need to be strong and competent
Big test for us today, roll on 12.30 and get this thing rocking .. Come on Youse Addicksssaaaa1 -

27 years - it has to end at some point
2-1 - Kelman winner at 64 mins
Carey gets off the mark as well1 -
They’ve obviously worked on stuff with Kelman the last couple of weeks.1
