On a serious point, someone needs to make sure the level crossing is properly marshalled/policed. I seem to remember last time this happened that the coppers on the ground didn't even know there was a level crossing down the road they were telling everyone to go down!

And once the Police have made the decision, the club then should make this known as widely as possible. Say it clearly and loudly who made this call, and supporters know exactly what they need to do after the game (not all are on SM and Forums).
