On a serious point, someone needs to make sure the level crossing is properly marshalled/policed. I seem to remember last time this happened that the coppers on the ground didn't even know there was a level crossing down the road they were telling everyone to go down!
I believe there is a MAJOR anti immigration march taking place in central London tomorrow and trouble is expected. O B will be very stretched and I suppose keeping the fabs as far apart as they can, for as long as they can is a way of ensuring that there is as little trouble as possible. Arsenal, Palace, Fulham (v Leeds), West Ham (v Spurs) and Brentford are all at home tomorrow, busy time for O B I wouldn't be surprised to see Essex, Surrey, Kent etc. Police patrolling London tomorrow

If the OB want to get rid of the spanners quickly, then the trains need to run and this will close off the level crossing. This is cause problems all the road from the crossing back up to Harvey Gardens.
I personally think we should refuse this shit and just walk our normal way - are the police gonna nick / be able to stop everybody? They're obviously gonna be understaffed anyway what with the march and all the rest of it. What they are really asking is for us to wait in the ground again. Something we made very clear last time we weren't happy about. Part of me thinks fuck it who cares, the other part thinks bollox. This is gonna really grate if we lose.
Millwall will have an away support of 3,000 season ticket holding , high loyalty points , fans. I think we can be fairly sure their bark is worse than their bite. They will be noisy and threatening, but these are largely kittens not Lions. They will be plastic Hoolies, who on the whole haven’t thrown a punch since year 10 at school. They are not the hordes of Gengis Khan, so let’s not big them up.
So if that's the case why are WE not being able to go about our lawful business and having to walk round in circles for 20 mins.

No reason to close Charlton Lane. I imagine they might block Charlton Church Lane just north of the station though, to stop anyone trying to access the station via Charlton Lane, Lansdowne Lane and The Heights.
Spoke to one of the directors about this who said that it was out of the club's hands and a police decision they weren't happy about.
Police rationale was if the Spanners were kept in they'd smash the place up and/or fight the old bill.
In case you want to let the crowd go the museum will be open after the game.
So all other home fans in the Championship have to do this when Millwall visit ? Don't recall seeing it in the media over the past few years that Millwall fans have smashed up stadiums.

Because they have allowed this decision to be made.There isn't another club in the country that would allow this to happen to their home fans. This will be the second time that it's happened to us and you can bet your bottom dollar it won't be the last. Grow some fucking balls and keep them in, the club could always lose the keys to the gates.
