We have had a couple of low-scoring weeks, so I'm hoping that the international break has got everyone ready for some high-quality predictions this week. It's a funny business being the person who picks the fixtures. Inevitably, when I don't pick a game because it looks too one-sided, a surprise result confounds me. I must admit, some weeks, it's like being two people. I set the fixtures on Wednesdays, but when I come to make my predictions on Friday morning, I sometimes wonder how anyone could pick such a horrid choice of games. Not this week, though, of course. We all know that Millwall will be heading up the Old Kent Road with their tails between their legs, Manchester United are a potential relegation team and never win, and newly-relegated Southampton must beat their neighbours from Portsmouth. But then the doubt sets in. I was a young man when Charlton last beat Millwall (well, much younger), Manchester United are above Man City, albeit after three games, and Portsmouth are above the Saints. And so, the merry-go-round begins again. Which three games should you pick? I can't help there, but good luck with whichever three you choose. You never know, you might be the first person to get three correct predictions this season. Or maybe not.
