Martin is turning out to be an absolute disaster appointment. He's so tactically inflexible and married to his philosophy to a fault, also doesn't seem to come across very well in the media either.3

And there are still idiots that think that either of these two bob outfits could compete in the Premier League. Mid table Championship at best the pair of them. Leave them where they belong.8

Won't have won a single league game.0 -
Apologies to the Rangers fans on here, but this is so funny. Little old Brugge.1

At least the hordes that would have travelled over would have been able to drown their sorrows in style!

That said, Russell Martin has still been a disaster though. There's a strong chance he won't be there after the international break if they lose this weekend as it looks like every single Rangers fan has already given up on him. His tactics and team selection have been so poor.4 -
Watching the game last night and Ally McMoist and the commentators were scathing of Rangers, their recruitment especially but also their tactics, style of play and commitment.
They also criticised the Scottish bubble that, as they said, means whoever wins the Old Firm game on Sunday will likely view things as being alright despite the two defeats in Europe this week.
The Celtic board will use the defeat, IMHO, as an excuse to not spend more money while the Rangers board will hang on to Martin until November at which point an "Ibrox legend" will come in to appease the fans who will get a dead cat bounce but no lasting improvement.
Meanwhile Hearts under Tony Bloom will get stronger.3 -

Didn't realise he had a stake in Hearts - yeah can see them doing well.
Brugge may well be half decent, but there's a difference between losing to them and losing 9-1 on aggregate and them going easy on you as they are 6-0 up just after half time.7 -
Never knew that. And if I had probably would've stuck a score on them!
Clever man is Bloom. And I don't think it will take much to out fox the current showers of shyte running the show.1 -

Little old Brugge will always be little old Brugge, no matter how many decent teams they beat. It’s a very small city with two clubs.0
