BEAT THE BOOKIE 2025/26 - Week 1 results & Week 2 fixtures

11 out of 77 lifers got a return in week 1.

@Tutt-Tutt is the weekly winner with picks of a win for Nottingham Forest against Brentford (2.05), a win for Norwich City against Portsmouth (2.88) and a win for Stoke City against Sheffield Wednesday (1.91) netting £112.77.

Collectively we would have been £88.20 down if placed with the real bookie.

Let me know if you spot any issues with the results this week, it being the first week I'd be surprised if I haven't made a mistake somewhere.

The Rules

Each week a selection from the weekends games will be posted up.
You will be given a virtual tenner to put on either a single, double or treble.
Simply post your bet from the selections and we'll work out everyone's virtual winnings/losses over the season.
If you don't use your bet you get -£10 for that week for competition purposes.
Anyone joining part way through the season will start on the same balance as the lowest in the competition.
Any bets affected by postponements will be settled using remaining selections. If all selections are cancelled you will get a £20 stake for the next round.
