Goodnight Terence Stamp

I am today years old when I found out that,

’Terry meets Julie, Waterloo Station, every Friday night’

was about our Terence.

RIP Sir and thank you for Bernadette ♥️

  • A great actor. He was excellent in my favourite film 'Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert'.

Never knew that. One of my favourite Kinks songs.

Recent film I remember him in was Valkerie.

    RIP.

I think it's a bit of a stretch to say that song is about him (and Julie Christie).  It was written about two characters and, while Ray Davies said he could imagine them playing the parts if a film were to be made of the song, it wasn't strictly about them.

However, it's a magnificent song and if some people see it as a tribute to a great actor, then that's fitting.
  • RIP a 60's icon.

Brilliant voice... Sorry to hear the news

Was great in both Superman, and then Smallville, albeit the latter was only ever a vocal role from memory
  • RIP, great actor, great innings

I read earlier that he used to share digs with Michael Caine and they were often thought as a gay couple.
Stamp disappeared for a few days and on his return Michael asked him where he’d been.
’Sleeping with all the wives and girlfriends of those who called us gay!’

    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  • He played the grumpy old man in “Song for Marion” along with our own Gemma.  One of my favourite films.

    RIP
