No reflection on the player but the original transfer might bear some investigation.
You can’t just drop that in without some explanation of what you mean.
I suspect he's suggesting a certain former director with links to both CAFC and the academy in Jamaica might have a had a vested interest in getting young Kaheim over to Europe, which might have potentially clouded judgement on his ability and readiness for such a move, somewhat.
But Dixon wasn't signed from Mount Pleasant.
No, but I would be surprised if it wasn’t Methven who really championed that deal and I doubt NJ would’ve been pursuing him otherwise. It would potentially help drive future interest in European clubs bringing over young players from Jamaica, such as those in the Mount Pleasant academy, if Dixon were to do well here and demonstrate that Jamaican talent can make the step up. That and we also hear our Jamaica inspired third kit was Charlie Boy’s idea and was even, possibly, intended to be our second strip.
I’m just speculating on what Airman may be driving at, is all. But I also doubt Charlie’s nan was from Kingston so his sudden love for the Reggae Boyz probably extends beyond just having a really nice holiday there once.

Is this because it hasn’t necessarily worked out, or is it because you know something that most others don’t, and you’re letting everyone know that you know something that others don’t?

Do you and others not understand that it’s not always possible to share the full detail of everything you hear, not because of some strange desire to show off, but to protect third parties?

I think people understand that but equally if you are going to throw out potentially damaging rumours with potential personal/legal consequences you better be prepared for questions.
Such a strange position to take, "its so sensitive that I cant give full details, i dont want to show off, I need to protect 3rd parties. Let me just throw a little tidbit on a online forum and get aggy if people ask for more details".
I'll ask outright are you suggesting there was some sort of illegality by figures at the club in regards to Dixon transfer ?

What I can say is that an allegation about the transfer was being made outside the club last year. Whether what was suggested would have been illegal I don’t know. It would certainly appear to be a conflict of interest if true. It did not involve the player.
Crawley manager comments on the latest Cawley substack about the deal nearly falling through when the team was on the coach going north and planning what station to drop him at.

Does he get to fly business class with his mates for free to these meetings?

I'm not sure but just exploring potential partnerships at this stage.
Look at the end of the day, he was a relatively low fee. The vast majority of us have the same opinion, there is some talent there but he needs to learn the discipline required for english football. Whetger he will or not is another question, for his and our sake i hope he does. Also he was playing for the Jamaican national team, which while not Brazil, Argentina et al should highlight he has talent. Also he is no worse (and id say better) than some of the players we have had recently signed for the first team and didnt play (Kirk, Ahadme, Fraser etc) whilst also having potential to grow. On the face of it the transfer doesnt appear a cause for concern and actually makes sense.
Now I know Charlie boy wasnt the most popular (I wasnt a fan based on sinderland doc) but any allegation of impropriety/illegality should be treated very seriously and as such unless one is willing to come out with ALL their knowledge regarding such a matter it shouldnt be a subject of internet tattle. So unless (as said above) make a substantial allegation we should probably stop with conjecture.

From inferior stock? Good lord Charlie, that wasn't the bally mission old boy!
Airman's posted plenty of stuff that's been absolutely on the nose in the past (the early days of Southall and ESI come to mind). If he says there's something about this transfer's that's off but chooses not to elaborate I'm happy to accept his word and his motivations at face value.

But he hasnt has he ? All he has said is a vague reference to improper conduct. What youre saying isnyour happy to stir the rumour mill with no consequence ?

Ok so more riddles, who made the allegation ? (If you cant answer that I understand) or what is the allegation ? (This you should be able to clear up) Is it an allegation or a suggestion ? Legally they are two very different things. So now its a conflict of interest ? By whom someone involved in the club no doubt ?

Then why talk in riddles, it’s a typical politicians answer.

It depends on the poster and the credit they've earned and banked.

Absolutely insane theory, "everyone i agree with can say what they like, those that i dont cant".
For what its worth Airman Brown has done a lot for the club, alot more than most and for that he has my gratitude and respect but that doesnt mean he can just hint at very serious issues with zero consequences. Also for what its worth there were a lot of people who were saying things regarding ESI and some (not as many) about Tommy. Lets not ignore the fact Tommy actually spent a lot of money and made decisions that on paper seemed good but were always destined to foul. Tommy wasnt a conman, he was naive about how expensive and difficult running a football club is.
