Jones, Ramsay and Apter unreal. Almost disappointed at the point as I felt like we deserved more.

Doc for me is a weak link
Generally agree, but thats harsh, thought Doc was decent today.
Doc IS decent. But he's surrounded by players who are BETTER than just "decent" and while I think he's very good for "intangibles" like the team spirit and effort levels he probably is the most likely to lose his place thus far.

  • Two games in and strong team and individual performances in both. Four points on the board. I could get used to this!

Edwards is a bit of a worry. Landed awkwardly with his boot catching in the turf. Hope his knee isn’t damaged
    I have a feeling it's a bad one.
Got up and walked away without much of a limp, same as last week. I bet he's fine
None of the post match interviews mentioned Edwards. I assume the likes of Cawley or Mendez would have asked about him if the press box thought it was a serious injury?
Didn't look good at the time particularly in slow mo, hopefully he's fine...
On the commentary they said Edwards was surprised to be taken off.

Huge thunderstorms meant leccie went start of the second half and zero 4G.
Was 7pm before it came back on & I found out the final score 😫🫣
Brilliant result and when I was listening brilliant noise from the travelling Addicks 🤩👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻♥️

527 minutes in game time since Burton scored after 13 minutes at the valley in League 1.

Wycombe, Wycombe, Orient, Watford and Bristol City couldn't score against Charlton.

After ten minutes I'd have cashed.out for the draw. But we grew into it and although Bristol were very very fast on the break, I honestly thought we were looking good for three points.
Overall, we look very much a decent championship side. Early days, and there will be tough times ahead. But the fight in this team is something that will trip up the established teams.
    We're back!!

Generally a very fair view from their fans, they sound a decent bunch..much like ourselves!
Could be worth keeping an eye on their forum to get an alternative view on the other teams in the league.
They particularly liked TC and would like to have him.

Sounds like a decent away day for those of you there, and a solid performance to go with it.

Massively pleased.  I said on the pre-match I would’ve bitten your hand off for a 0-0 and it sounds like we did the ugly stuff well and from just watching the highlights on ITV4, there wasn’t much in it re: clear cut chances, so it looks like we held our own going forward as well.

I know there is a lot more stability about the club this time round, but my mind can’t stop thinking about the bright start we had in 2019 and then just how bloody tough it got.  I’m confident we’ve got the players to compete in this division, but we know when the last days of summer finish and we get into those months of Oct onwards, things will get tough.  We can enjoy it while we can though

another tough one next week.  46 odd points to go

Cracking clean sheet on the road to a team who must have been on a high after their win last week.
We are bloody good defensively! Ramsay was immense today!

Two games in and many questions I had have been answered in a positive way. Couple more…
    1) TC was causing a lot of issues and I’m pleased to see him doing so but I still have question marks about his goal involvements.
    2) What’s up Doc? He doesn’t miss a mark with his off the ball support work - unfortunately I’ve not seen much added to the game outside of that. Can he add more at this level?
    3) We clearly have the depth to cover both of the above, how long will NJ leave it before he needs to get more from both?

I agree it will be tough. But one great thing is that these days the closer it gets to 90 minutes the more likely I think it is we will score. A few years ago it was the opposite. N J has made us both very hard to beat and also fit enough to run other teams into the ground in the last quarter.

An enjoyable day out where I went in hope we didn’t get battered and left a bit gutted we didn’t win it.

Kayne Ramsay really is so good. We looked so solid. Hope we can carry it on , on Saturday.
