I was at the other end of the ground, with my daughter (I coach a youth football team just outside Bristol, so was there with a load of city young city fans).
ALL the noise was coming from the Charlton fans. Outstanding all game.
City fans were impressed with us, that we’d just come up and didn’t park the bus, they were frustrated they got zero out of long balls and Struber didn’t have a plan B, plus we did them on width all day long.30 -

Doc for me is a weak link8 -
This thread in particular very complimentary.
They can keep their dirty nibs off Campbell though!!

Two games in and strong team and individual performances in both. Four points on the board. I could get used to this!3

Brilliant day taking my son to his first away game.I think it’s one of the most enjoyable nil nil games I’ve been to. The support was unbelievable and so so loud throughout. Absolutely outstanding.
We made it very difficult for them to get into any rhythm and definitely finished the game the strongest and probably should have nicked it.
To top it all off we bumped into Nathan on the train home so got a picture with him.I’m one proud Charlton fan tonight. Up the addicks ❤️77 -
Kelman did a great shift
Robby Apter and Ramsey best players on the pitch6 -

527 minutes in game time since Burton scored after 13 minutes at the valley in League 1.
Wycombe, Wycombe, Orient, Watford and Bristol City couldn't score against Charlton.

After ten minutes I'd have cashed.out for the draw. But we grew into it and although Bristol were very very fast on the break, I honestly thought we were looking good for three points.
Overall, we look very much a decent championship side. Early days, and there will be tough times ahead. But the fight in this team is something that will trip up the established teams.
We're back!!5 -

Could be worth keeping an eye on their forum to get an alternative view on the other teams in the league.0 -
Sounds like a decent away day for those of you there, and a solid performance to go with it.
Massively pleased. I said on the pre-match I would’ve bitten your hand off for a 0-0 and it sounds like we did the ugly stuff well and from just watching the highlights on ITV4, there wasn’t much in it re: clear cut chances, so it looks like we held our own going forward as well.
I know there is a lot more stability about the club this time round, but my mind can’t stop thinking about the bright start we had in 2019 and then just how bloody tough it got. I’m confident we’ve got the players to compete in this division, but we know when the last days of summer finish and we get into those months of Oct onwards, things will get tough. We can enjoy it while we can though
another tough one next week. 46 odd points to go8 -
Cracking clean sheet on the road to a team who must have been on a high after their win last week.We are bloody good defensively! Ramsay was immense today!
Two games in and many questions I had have been answered in a positive way. Couple more…1) TC was causing a lot of issues and I’m pleased to see him doing so but I still have question marks about his goal involvements.2) What’s up Doc? He doesn’t miss a mark with his off the ball support work - unfortunately I’ve not seen much added to the game outside of that. Can he add more at this level?3) We clearly have the depth to cover both of the above, how long will NJ leave it before he needs to get more from both?

Passed the CAFC bus on the a20 at fiveways at 21:30. Gave them a wave and thumbs up. Excellent result and well deserved point.7

An enjoyable day out where I went in hope we didn’t get battered and left a bit gutted we didn’t win it.
Kayne Ramsay really is so good. We looked so solid. Hope we can carry it on , on Saturday.1
