Not sure it carried across on the TV, but our fans were immense. As it has been for almost every away the last couple of years. Non stop singing from 2.45 to the end.
Ashton Gate used to be a really atmospheric ground. No idea what’s happened to their support as they have a decent team. It felt like a home game at times.
And the Sonny Carey and Rob Apter songs were funny and the other inventive in that order. Excellent atmosphere.
Just caught the short Sky highlights. Our chances looked the most dangerous. Haven’t seen anyone mention it yet but the ball from Anderson while falling over to find Knibbs before Apter crosses in is sublime
An excellent away point at one of the better Championship teams and one riding a wave of confidence following their start to the season. Most of us would have taken a point before kick off but this was certainly not one of those achieved whilst spending most of the afternoon on the back foot.
We defended outstandingly well whilst still carrying a goal threat and could easily have snatched it, although I thought a draw was a fair result on the balance of play.
We had a slightly sticky first 10-15 minutes, with City’s speed and movement threatening to open us up. We did, however, get to grips with them and came right back into the game.
The second half saw short spells with both sides in the ascendency but we certainly finished the stronger, forcing Vitek into two good saves.
Our three central defenders were outstanding, with Ramsay turning in a tremendous performance, although such is the man’s talent and consistency that we now almost expect it on a weekly basis.
Apter played very well and Campbell also troubled the opposition with his pace and some crisp link up play. As was the case last week, the introduction of Leaburn, Olaofe and Knibbs gave us fresh impetus in the latter stages and the latter almost popped up with another injury time winner following Apter’s fine cross.
It’s early days but the determination, work rate, professionalism and quality of the team bodes well for the next nine months. I’m really looking forward to the Leicester game next week - if they don’t come to The Valley with the right attitude, they are in for a nasty surprise.

What were the songs?
Oh Sonny Carey you are the love of my life Oh Sonny Carey I'll let you shag my wife Oh Sonny Carey I want ginger hair too
Then to Bowie's Starman
There's a Starman Running down the right His name is Robbie Apter And he's fucking dynamite

Let's just hope Carey is better than Bailey at taking penalties

Generally a very fair view from their fans, they sound a decent bunch..much like ourselves! Could be worth keeping an eye on their forum to get an alternative view on the other teams in the league.
On the 18.00 from Bristol TM, absolutely buzzing!!! Thought we would nick it late on. Not one below par performance. Am backing Kelman to click in the next couple games. The support was amazing!!
All the hurt of the last few years is slowly fading.
I AM A CHARLTON ATHLETIC SUPPORTER
Post of the day for me, it feels right to be proud of our football team again!
Was reflecting before the game. Last time I attended Ashton Gate sat in a similar spot. We started Macauley Bonne up top on his own and had no strikers on the bench.
Edwards is a bit of a worry. Landed awkwardly with his boot catching in the turf. Hope his knee isn’t damaged
I have a feeling it's a bad one.
Got up and walked away without much of a limp, same as last week. I bet he's fine
None of the post match interviews mentioned Edwards. I assume the likes of Cawley or Mendez would have asked about him if the press box thought it was a serious injury?

Didn't look good at the time particularly in slow mo, hopefully he's fine...
