    Anderson MOM
Yep agreed. Think he overtakes Docherty at some point this season and maybe makes that position his own
  • Did what we needed to do in the first half. Meant the second half was a bit of a drag but that’s fine. Very pleasant evening at the Valley watching a really decent Charlton team beat a pub team comfortably.

Leaburn in the dugout with his back to the game. Bad body language poor attitude sell him etc
Because there is nowhere to sit the dugout are too small
    Thanks Colin
  • Bromley Norwich would be a nice local fixture for the next round.
Fixed it for me ... and quite a few other North Folk Addicks.

Had Mannion not had his 'injury' when Stevenage were on top we might have ended up with penalties as well. Stevenage dominated us after they brought their first team on. Berry's goal against the run of play fixed it for us.
  • I kept having to remind myself that Kayne Ramsay wasn't on the pitch towards the end of the game as Alan Mwamba was also playing with a bandage on his hand. Is that a recent injury or are they all giving themsleves RSI playing too much FIFA?
  • I feel like Berry is the forgotten man a little bit this season.

On that showing he’ll have a big part to play.
It’s literally the second game. Who’s forgotten him?
  • They will need to work with linking Kelman into this squad, the longer he goes without scoring the worse it will get. I do think when the whole team is up and running the goals will come

Kelman not for me on 2 glimpses
I personally wasn’t sold before we bought him. But we need to give him time. Not as though he’s had much to feed off so far
If you can't make your own chances (like many of our forwards can), you have to show movement and get into space. My prediction, he won't get ten goals even if he takes our penalties (earned by others).

TC got pelters for no end product on Saturday, but Kelman was in the box surrounded by 3 or 4 defenders, basically static.

Do our recruitment team not look at stats and heat maps?

What they look at is Charlie Kelman's 27 goals in all competitions last season and feel at 23 he can continue to improve.

That was a bit unnecessary on Kelman by the tunnel

  • Based on Derby away two years ago and his play off performances last year, plus this evening......

Anderson's ceiling eclipses Doherty before Christmas

Who was Jones complaining about there?
The lack of things to complain about
  • Well I enjoyed watching that a bit more than the bloke by the commentator who kept letting out a massive yawn!

A good run out for some and through to the next round. I think being in L1 so much many thanks can’t really differentiate the early rounds of the League Cup with the Papa Johns shite.

Good news for the fam that got to go was being able to park close and be home in record quick time. Like the good old days!
  • But worried about Kelman’s anonymity today after a poor showing on Saturday
    Shut up you plum.
Notice how I said I was a bit worried rather than proclaiming him to be shit?

    you melt!
    Handbags at dawn.

Thierry Small use to play with a bandage on his hand and Kayne has for most of the time he seems to have been at CAFC.🤔

  • This has been a proper ding dong battle hasn't it? The match thread, I mean...
I still don't know what a melt is
I’m guessing someone having a meltdown but it could be a grilled cheese and tuna sandwich. I’m hoping it’s the latter because that would be a good insult.

Some very good performances out there, just what a manager wants to see. Olaofe, Leaburn and Fullah look a threat and are linking up well and Rylah does not look out of place and wants to take his man on nearly every time. No problems with the back three and Costello, Anderson and knibbs are bossing it.
Is that a polite way of saying that Mannion is having a stinker?
  • Some good performances particularly first half. Second half was a bit of a chore.

Another league one or two team next round and then a big boy away please.
As long as the big boy has a big ground and fills it.
