  • Nothing on the academy account either.

Yeah, Wednesday on Sunday, not Monday. Then Wednesday on Tuesday might not be on Tuesday because Wednesday are also playing on Wednesday, and Wednesday don't have enough players for Wednesday on Tuesday and Wednesday on Wednesday. Hope that helps
Not in a month of Sundays.
  • Any team news? Can I follow this live anywhere?

I appreciate that they may be understaffed and with a game at the Valley tonight, clearly that takes priority, but how long would it take to put a team up on the socials before kick off?
But they are very efficient in advertising Valley Gold/ Jackpot draws which aids the Academy.
I normally attend all the u21 home games but did not fancy standing for a couple of hours in searing heat with no shade.
That's if spectators were allowed into Sparrows Lane to watch the game.

Agree, even the away team posted their line up.

    For nothing, possibly.
  • This is disappointing, would have got some idea if any of the U21s would have been with the first team tonight from the lineup

I think Sparrows Lane has been only letting in Valley Gold members who have booked in advance, for the last few years.
  • 4 now
  • Flashscore giving goal times of 45+1, 62, 65 and 72. No names for the scorers.

The site's a bit hard to read on my phone screen - wall to wall betting adverts.

Yes, that has been the case in recent seasons but with no preview or zero communication from the club whose to know.

I used to book in but just showed my Valley Gold membership card to security at the gate at Sparrows Lane last season.
  • Only scorer I can see is Ethan Brown with the first.
  • Currently top of the league on goals scored.

The academy seems to have fallen in a communications black hole over the summer.

No squad or released player updates for months, no good luck messages to those leaving and now today.
So we don't notice when they close the academy next summer : wibble:
  • And it's 5 (Five)
  • The Academy X account has only 1 update - the half-time 1-1 scoreline.  Can't be that difficult to update - with the goals as a minimum.
  • Finished 5 nil
  • Finished 5 - 0
  • 5th goal on 88 minutes. Again, no idea of the scorer.
  • Finished 5 - 0
Academy X now updated 5-0. "A superb second-half performance from Chris Lock’s side sees us taste triumph on the opening day".
