Phil Parkinson isn't a championship level manager. They'll not progress with him at the helm in this league and the Championship is levels above the lower leagues they've bought their way through.

Good luck to their genuine fans, the owners and the town though as having watched the series it's difficult to begrudge them and the positive impact the takeover has had.

The inevitable media circus is always gonna happen.

    So we agree.

But there's plenty who won't and would say that it's highly irrational and just down to jealousy

Jealous of the revenue it brings them, as it's like having another parachute receiving club in our division. We'll average a higher attendance than them but have less financial clout.

Well there's always BBC radio London.. ah no wait, they've got a programme about the weirdest song titles. Andrew from walthamstow has mentioned the police with de do do and now they're playing what Steve suggests Bananaramas version of Na Na hey hey.
For what it's worth, the game was on BBC Radio London DAB - they split the frequency so FM and online was Robert Elms (BBC London don't have rights to broadcast EFL games online)

Sky have messed up football and stick games on to suit them and not supporters.

Cancelled my subscription ages ago and went dodgy.
Never had a subscription in the first place, anything to do with Murdoch is a No from me.
There are plenty of other reasons not to like Sky. But Murdoch isn't one of them. It's been owned by an American called Brian Roberts through his Comcast company since 2018. Conveniently, the Chairman and CEO only owns 1% of Comcast stock but the share structure means that equates to 33% of the voting rights...
Murdoch now has nothing to do with Sky at all.

Oh give over. He started the whole circus. The Golden Game, Richard Keys, Andy Gray, breaking up the Saturday football pattern. Monday nights, Friday Nights, lunchtime KO's evening KOs, and throughout absolute contempt for the paying fans especially the away fans, who simply became bit-part actors in his TV productions and had to pay through the nose for the privilege.

27 years of it. Comcast have simply inherited it all, and they are hardly going to undo it, especially as all the club owners are doped on the rights money.

Couldn't make the valley today, so in the car and turn the radio on.

Talksport - live commentary of Wrexham
R5L - live commentary of Wrexham

    FFS

Edit* and of course it's also live on two different Sky Sports channels too
Sorry to be a pedant but only talkSport have the national rights for broadcasting EFL commentaries. The only way to hear them on the BBC is via local radio (but not online as talkSport have the rights to that as well).

I actually think they were just going around the grounds and it was bad luck on my part to tune in and get over a minute of the Wrexham game before I changed channels in search of anything else

ITV are allowed to show a few live EFL games this season. Guess which club will be hosting the first of these this Saturday lunchtime...

Seems a bit stupid to show Wrexham at 12:30pm, given the early start for the American audiences
