KAMINSKI: 6 not much to go on apart from the cluster fuck at the end that thankfully we got away with
RAMSAY: 8 so assured, will fit right in this league
JONES: 7.5 almost popped up with an early goal with a marauding run. Defended well
BELL: 7 so laid back he's horizontal, I had my heart in my mouth a couple of times though
APTER: 7.5 lively, much better striker of the ball than Small, tracks back slightly less though
CAREY: 8.5 absolutely everywhere today, only thing against him was when he broke clear on the right he held the ball too long and then had a shot on a tight angle when a cutback was the better option
COVENTRY: 6.5 defends well but passing slightly wayward, has more time than he thinks
DOCHERTY: 6 ran a lot today and is always an option, but similar to Coventry he rushed some passes that didn't need to be so quick
EDWARDS: 7 so industrious, got done a couple of times but recovered
KELMAN: 6 on scraps
CAMPBELL: 6.5 faded badly second half, but his running with the ball still makes defenders shit themselves
Referee: 4 sadly watching the Bham game last night and this game today the league may be better but the refs ain't.
Subs: LEABURN: 7 did well when he came on, he's a handful
KAMINSKI - 5.5 - not a lot to do but had us all worried at the end!
RAMSAY - 7.5 - this guy is a stud, even at this level. Hopefully he stays fit for the season.
JONES - 8 - just fills you with so much confidence. Gains a point for a great knockdown at the end.
BELL - 7 - thought in pre-season he just looks so composed and reads the game well. Sometimes holds the ball a little too long but can still do a good job for us.
APTER - 8 - thought he looked really threatening throughout. Occasionally I’d rather see him whip a cross in rather than stand it up, but that’s a very minor critique. Looks a great signing.
CAREY - 7 - some clever runs in behind and brought a lot to the midfield battle as well. I wonder if he can play the Docherty role when Knibbs is up to speed.
COVENTRY - 7 - the sort of player you don’t notice until he isn’t there. Think he will be really important for us this season.
DOCHERTY - 6 - typical Doc performance, didn’t really notice him for good or bad. Doesn’t let anyone down but think we probably have more quality in the squad now.
EDWARDS - 8.5 - thought he did really well up against a tricky winger, and showed good signs going forward as well. Hopefully was only a little knock at the end as I’m not sure we have anyone to fill this role that well.
KELMAN - 6 - showed some nice touches and work rate but really was feeding off scraps. Hopefully gets some sights of goal in coming weeks.
CAMPBELL - 6.5 - another typical Campbell performance. Looks so dangerous and gets into great situations and then doesn’t deliver the end product. Hopefully we see more end product as he does scare teams.
LEABURN - 6 - continued to work hard and his presence bothered defenders. Hope he can stay fit.
REFEREE - 4 - generally was thinking he was good in the first half but then missed stonewall penalties for both sides in the 2nd half.

Although looks like he did good work in disrupting the corner defending at the end! EDWARDS: 7.5 - had Baah's number most of the game. BELL: 8.5 - Considering I expected him to come in as our backup centre back, I am thoroughly impressed. A wonderful passer of the ball aswell as a great defender
APTER: 7.5 - Looked lively and rapid as, had some really nice shots too. Big fan off of today's performance
CAREY: 7.5 - Made a couple of odd decisions with the ball but his movement is top class and he created a lot for us, link up with Apter was top drawer too
COVENTRY: 8 - Reliable Con picks up where he left off, what a player he is and liked his set piece delivery today
DOCHERTY: 6.5 - Huffed and puffed but struggled to get involved today. Some nice touches in there but also some moments where the quality was missing
EDWARDS: 8 - Had Baah, a dangerous player (and prick) in his back pocket today, delivery looked dangerous too
KELMAN: 6.5 - Tried to compete with their centre backs but had no chance really. Would have liked to have seen him take a shot but can see how people have likened him to Godden.
CAMPBELL: 7 - Some nice movement across the pitch but looked to be missing the confidence to try anything that might break them down
