Would I like to see these two get it over the line?

    Yes

Do I want to see Woakes batting with one arm?

    Double Yes.

Hopefully the massive error from that overturned lbw decision calms the umpires down.

Would Woakes really come out if we need double figures?

Probably a few too many on the board but this would be an absolute all timer.

Fortunately that was the end of the over so it's all down to Atkinson now.

    Woakes will struggle to run.

Woakes can't have a runner either so that rules 2s out of the question.

Thing it that Atkinson can't rely on taking a single off the last ball so will probably need to take the opportunity off the 4th or 5th ball.

Obviously gutted we look like losing, but what drama, Test cricket is unmatched.

I've said it before that Woakes is one of my all time favourite cricketers for his honesty and the way he gives his all and plays with a smile on his face but we can bravery to all that too.

Umpires being all nice to Woakes... dont give Overton on a dodgy call and he might not have had to bat!

Im not a keeper but why wouldn’t Jurel stand up to the stumps as he has against other seamers and hope it goes into his glove? Removes the bye and if it goes past him it hits the rope and Woakes is on strike anyway

Why is this? Isn’t it dangerous for him to run?
I’m sure Inzamam once had a runner just because he was a fat bastard?

Because at that pace if he misses it, it's 4 runs. It only takes one ball down the legside and he's stuffed.

India need one wicket, England/Atkinson need three fours or a couple of sixes, or combinations thereof.

I'd have a fielder on the boundary behind the keeper.  A nick past the keeper is as likely as anywhere else on the ground.

But then Woakes is on strike right? Take some pace off and bowl at the stumps to him and he should be out before he can hit a single surely

Why are they gifting Atkinson singles on the 6th ball?

Odd tactics to have the fielders back, but not bowl short on the final ball.

Real shame. Can’t really argue with 2-2 though.
