Kingdom is excellent.Carter said:There is a series called Kingdom, set around a family-run MMA gym. Brilliant, anything with Paul Walter Hauser in I'll watch. He's in a series with Taron Edgerton called black bird that I enjoyed. Other notable series I recommend are
 Lioness
 Mayans MC
 The Agency
 Slow Horses
 Tulsa King
 Mayor of Kingstown1

The trainwrek series are good, but the last one about PI mums was pretty dull. Woodstock '99 is probably the best so far.1

Raylan Givens!😄 I started to watch it last year as I had just finished The Pacific and saw quite a few of its actors cast in Justified. My mum later joined in. I stopped after season 4 but she continued all the way to the end of the show and absolutely loved it🤣Leroy Ambrose said:
Seen Justified? That'll keep the missus interest...ValleyGary said:
I’ve seen BlackBird, Slow Horses and Tulsa King but will check out the others. Half my problem is picking something the missus keeps interest in.Carter said:There is a series called Kingdom, set around a family-run MMA gym. Been watching Mix Tape on iPlayer.
Warm, well paced and acted. Plus, some good music including a Kitchen Of Distinctions track.5

Series 2/3 of squid games not a path on the 1st. Feels like they should have left it as a standalone, but pleased the creative team behind it made some proper bunce from the follow ups (after the made very little from the 1st)0

Just read that the 2nd series of Untamed us due to be released on October 3rd !2
-
Just finished watching Kaos on Netflix which was great watching. Hadn't heard of it and came out last year apparently, but not been renewed (ironically).
Seems a shame to have shows like this get great reviews, and be well liked by those who watch it, but lose out on second series due to a potential lack of push from Netflix itself?1

With social media etc these days, you're always going to find a fan base for almost every show that's made.Yanntheman said:Just finished watching Kaos on Netflix which was great watching. Hadn't heard of it and came out last year apparently, but not been renewed (ironically).

Apparently compared to other shows, Kaos had a low audience figure.0

Unforgivable(BBC) - latest drama by Jimmy McGovern. Well written and insightful.
Excellent cast - the drama covers the issue of child abuse within a family. A difficult watch that confronts the cycle of abuse and the lack of support for young victims.

Watching the Built in Birmingham documentary. Does Tom Brady realise how badly he comes across in this?1

Decided to go with Mayor of Kingstown. Even missus enjoying this.3

Know it's several years old, but watched all series of Ozark over the past month.
Fantastic storytelling, acting (Julia Garner was a scene stealer and can see why she's popping up in big films now), and the camera work is beautiful throughout.8

Just started it, enjoying it so far. Find Garner’s faux accent a bit much though!stoneroses19 said:Know it's several years old, but watched all series of Ozark over the past month.
