Chloe Kelly is gonna get SPOTY ain’t she.

    Dame Chloe Kelly.
William could whip his sword out and do her there on the pitch.
Yeah. He’d proper Top Trump that Spanish bloke if he did.

Wonderful - what a gutsy performance against an excellent Spanish side. Great character from start to finish.

Did Kelly just say ‘fucking come on’ at the camera when she got her medal?

Tough on Spain. They dominated possession and their passing was excellent, but unfortunately for them their strikers couldn’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo! 🤣

I think I recognise more of the England women’s team than the men’s

Agyemang got young player of the tournament despite not starting a single match and didn't play at all in 2 of them. Pretty incredible for her.

Did Lucy Bronze just say she’s been playing with a fractured tibia? That’s insane

She did, fair play that must have absolutely killed.

No wonder Bronze has looked off the pace a bit this tournament. Fair play. Absolute warrior.

That is insane. Must've had some serious painkilling injections before every single game.

    Got to love pens
fairplay to the women, they’ve done what our men have failed, in forever,  to do during knockout stages of the major tournaments and that is win a match as underdog and that’s why they’re the champions and not mincing around like our men’s team .

She definitely is the female  version of Stewart Pearce, in more ways than one

Great team effort and a great gutsy win in a final. Very inspiring to lots of youngsters.

I did ask them to win in 90 minutes, but I’m not complaining.

Lucy Bronze, too old and slow
Jess Carter, couldn’t turn on a roundabout
    Lauren James, primadonna, too lazy
And how well would you do playing with a broken leg?

About 8 years ago my partner's daughter was told by her primary school that girls weren't allowed to play football.

I wonder if they are still trying to say that...

Well done girls! Kelly’s the only decent penalty out of the 9. Who cares though.
  • Thought Hannah Hampton had an excellent tournament - she had big boots to fill - and did that quite magnificently.

Can we change  the title to this thread to add that England are winners?

    Excellent result. Well done ladies.

Now enjoying reading the posts comparing the men's and women's team by the same people who say you shouldn't compare the men's and women's game.

The England women remind me of Charlton the 2nd  half of last season.
Never know when they are beaten and just get the job done.

Didn't you see the sub Charles pen ?
Kelly penalty strike was the hardest hit ball in this year's Euros. She hit a pen hard like that which beat unlucky Nigeria in the WC KO.

Idiots. My local grassroots club has a waiting list for the girl’s/women’s game. Has done since the last Euros. We’re not a small club either.
