    When I saw on the news the celebration after the semi final win there it is far too civilised for any of that nonsense. One woman however did stand on a table.

    The BBC website text commentary enjoyed the point with about 10 minutes to go when Berger went down injured, both sets of players were off for a drinks break and a tactical discussion and the Germans forgot to send the physio on to treat their definitely-injured player. And we thought the Italians were cynical.
