    The Swedish keeper taking one was such a stupid idea. Says a lot about the confidence in the rest of their takers

    WTF, I'm happy we're through, although I thought Sweden were superior by some distance. James gor me was the standout fir us, again by a long way. 
    It was an exciting game of football, and a lot  of the games have been so far. But in the end, England winning was everything. I doubt I'd have watched much more of this competition if Sweden had won.

    I was at Goodison in the Full Members quarter final that went to pens. Neville Southall took one, which was by far the best one of the night. If Bolder had got to the ball, it would have either taken his hand off or carried him into the net.

    After Russo buried the first pen, my bloody VPN let me down, by the time I got it back the England players were running around celebrating. 

    I was gutted but not half as gutted after reading this thread and realising all the hilarity that I had missed.

    Very lucky to win that, Sweden dominated large spells and we somehow scored twice during our best 20 min period. After that Sweden dominated again in extra time and we tried our best to hand them the shootout win but somehow their misses kept us in it. 

    Italy aren't anything special but with our defending at the moment Id fancy anyone to score a couple against us. We could yet end up in the final, but Spain can easily stick 5 or 6 past us if they are at their best and our shambles at the back continues.

    Might be a struggle to get Williamson, James and Bronze fit for the semi-final. Also I would imagine Carter’s confidence is shot to pieces. Could have a inexperienced back four

    Have a look at England mens record in  penalties in tournaments 
    Yes we improved recently but its been shocking some of our shoot outs.
