Great news but has anyone told you you really look like Garry Nelson (especially with that top on)?!SidewaysInOz said:Can't speak highly enough of the staff in the club shop. I missed out on the 91/92 shirt as by the time I arrived in the UK before the Play-off final they had all been snapped up.
Iconic '90s shirt available now! | Charlton Athletic Football Club
Did leave my details in case one turned up and low and behold the club shop emailed me to say they had one in XL. The staff could not have been more helpful, and I received it the other day. Propper chuffed!
Left a Google Review for them with a picture.

Congrats ! my order was cancelled due to overselling, still hoping a Large turns up as they offered to do the same for me.11 -

Oo, touchy. Just thought if you had loads of retro shirts you’d wear one of them as opposed to a VIP shirt which is a bit random but each to their own.jimmymelrose said:

I'm what you might call a retro supporter. Also, if the old team shirts are now being resold, how can we tell which are the originals? My VIP T-shirt is a true limited edition retro shirt.
I also still have this:

Id be amazed if the stock of these lasts more than a few days. We really need a retro shirt selection as a permanent fixture in the club shop, with a range of kits going from the 70s to the 00s. There are plenty of clubs up and down the leagues that manage this, but we just put out 1 or 2 shirts intermittently in limited quantities which quickly sell out, not to be seen again. It's better than nothing but it could be so much better.clive said:The latest in the popular line of Charlton Athletic retro shirts will go on sale tomorrow.

I don't understand why the numbers produced are so low. Blink and they sell out.CAFCTrev said:

Very good marketing idea with the retros.
Looks like I will need to get online in the morning

Nice that the retro kits actually have the manufacturer name on them, I hate the score draw England ones as they look crap without them3

Any idea how much? Trying to save for my Oasis bucket hat for Sunday0

Score draw kits are basic and OK but like you say lack some of the details. How can you do a 1990 kit without umbro on it....shockingPelling1993 said:Nice that the retro kits actually have the manufacturer name on them, I hate the score draw England ones as they look crap without them0 -

The museum were happy to help the shop with this and some other remake shirts (my lips are sealed).
You can see an original match worn version of the shirt, and plenty of others, when you visit the museum. Open Fridays from 11 to 2.30.3 -
Supposedly the club shop sold alll 400 of the 91/92 retro home shirts in minutes
These will go as quick
The club shop will do very well on these items. You only had to see at Wycombe away in the play offs how many people were wearing retro tops from that red robins account on twitter to know there is a take up for these shirts
That also goes for the bucket hats from the museum

Depends on who the manufacturer are and if they still exist.Pelling1993 said:Nice that the retro kits actually have the manufacturer name on them, I hate the score draw England ones as they look crap without them
I know the club shop and the firm who make them had to do a lot of work getting permissions.2 -
Would love to see the yellow/blue 99/00 away kit but completely understand with Le Coq still being in business that might not be one that's doable.0

Admittedly we are not Man utd, but selling retro shirts in the club shop should be a good win for the club and a win for the fans.shirty5 said:Supposedly the club shop sold alll 400 of the 91/92 retro home shirts in minutes

You could make it but you have to remove any Le Coq branding, as per the Score Draw England Umbro era shirts mentioned here already.MarcusH26 said:Would love to see the yellow/blue 99/00 away kit but completely understand with Le Coq still being in business that might not be one that's doable.0 -

I must be in a minority who think it’s a hideous kit - plenty of better ones they could’ve picked
purple and green = no thanks6 -
