You can’t tell me, if you get it wide and put balls in the box you won’t win games.

Beat Sweden, England beat Italy from what I’ve seen.

So Italy through. Norway had them on the back foot for a while but couldn't get a second. And after the Italy winner, Norway barely touched the ball during 4 minutes of injury time.

Dangerous words, but that was exactly what I thought

A couple of good moves for the two Italian goals, but they looked dodgy at the back and whichever of Sweden or England wins that game is going to be very confident.

I'm 99.9% confident that whoever wins tonight will then make the final.

I’m not over confident we’ll get past Sweden tbh.
They due a win against us in a tournament.
    Feck I hope I’m wrong 😑

Italys captain is a proper actor
She scored in one of the group games and did a massively OTT celebration where she started crying and the entire team and bench emptied out to celebrate with her. I was begging for VAR to disallow it.

My thoughts exactly everyone is assuming we should beat Italy and be in the final but having seen Sweden I would say we are underdogs tonight

Of course Sweden is a tough game but England were exposed by the youth, energy and pace of France. I think Sweden are closer to the Netherlands in how they play. Germany allowed them to beat them rather than Sweden playing really incisive attacking play. England have similar weaknesses defensively. But what bothers me about England is we beat Belgium 5 nil and lost to them a few days later. When we pass we have to do it with purpose. In the second half against Wales the player receiving was thinking about a negative pass bypassing the thought of doing something positive. That has to be stamped out. But Englands best team is strong with attacking players like James, Hemp and Russo. I don't think there is that strength in depth at the moment, but our best team should be good enough and whilst Italy have improved, that is a great tie in a semi final.

To be fair,  the comments are more that whoever wins tonight should then beat Italy, rather than assuming we'll win.

This looks worse than the game against France - our defence looks panic strikes.

She has looked a liability most of the tournament tbf, even in the games we've won she's had a couple of wobbles.
