Woakes dropping Rahul could decide this match (along with plenty of others).

    Gill really is a cnut
I said this a couple of weeks ago and was asked why.
    Can't stand the prick.

    Great game of cricket though
Personally think most of them are.
My conclusion too. Is is because it is pretty much the only sport in their country they are successful at (in spite of their enormous population)  so they are treated like gods?

Was dipping in/out of the tennis, what is the latest winviz?

Pisses me off that the last five balls of the over were not bowled

Am on holiday at the moment,  but caught the last hour. What a transformation when Stokes and Carse took over, bowling with pace and targeting the stumps.

Hilarious when Deep pretended to have an injury, to waste time.  I have no problem with India doing this at the end of the day, but it makes the overreaction yesterday all the more ridiculous.

Typical India - one rule for them and one for everyone else. They truly think they can have it all their own way

What a great series this is turning out to be.

Two very different sides but the sum total -  not a lot to choose between them.
My feeling is the Indian bowling is a tad better but tomorrow will tell.
    Bring it on.

Stokes may not be the MOM so far, but the effort he has put in has been extraordinary.

What a days play that was. Wish it wasn’t so sunny. In the Grand Stand tomorrow. Hope we manage to get them out. What a test match.

I don’t know those figure but I do know India are 8-11 to win the test which I think is a great bet considering the batters to come in .

Not that they're useful in my opinion but Eng 45 %, Ind 55%

    The Betfair market is

    India 1.58 (63%)
    England 2.72 (37%)

interesting, I was thinking more 55% India, 45% Eng. Shame Stokes didn't get to finish off the last over

So the Aussies can't bat at the moment, but are bowling well, and we are batting OK (problems with Crawley and Pope, but we're still regularly getting 300+) but the bowling looks poor.

    Might be a weird Ashes.

A brilliant but aging bowling attack. Interesting that they went with Boland in addition to Cummins,  Starc and Hazelwood

I wonder if the Aussie's will throw a wildcard into their bowling attack like Fergus O'Neill who looked absolutely excellent in his brief spell with Notts earlier in the season.

Remember how mad the Aussie commentators were going because Sam Konstas tried to reverse scoop Bumrah a few times on his debut.

Now he’s keeping Crawley off the bottom of the worst test openers list.

No matter what happens in this Test I think there should be changes. I would drop Crawley and Woakes and bring in Bethell and Atkinson, if fit. I know Bethell is not an opener but I think he will do a better job than Crawley. Woakes bowling at 79 MPH without seam or swing is not going to get good batsmen out.

Day/night test so can only assume they felt he could get the ball swinging

Siraj fined 15% of his match fee and 1 demerit point for the Duckett send-off.

Out of interest, when did day 5 tickets go on sale?
    The same time as 1-4?

Cue Woakes getting the last six wickets today.

After sitting, resting in the shade for days, there is no way that Pant should be allowed to bat until no 11 at the earliest .. alas the rules/laws allow him to carry on as normal .. that is PANTS i m o  >:)

Seems ridiculously unfair - except to India!
