Did Jones say he wanted a player who is more appropriate to play RWB, and someone replied, "Do you mean apter"?2

Apter. Rubbish, runs around in rings and cant beat his man. Wouldn't waste your time.

I'm assuming Ahadme with that comment?

I am reading Blackpool life, and the general consensus seems to be that they would be sad to see him go. Always good to read.

This is what Albie gets for overcelebrating, we are nicking all his mates in midfield.5 -
He would be to replace one we had who could beat his man three times but could not cross or shoot.Hertsseasider said:Apter. Rubbish, runs around in rings and cant beat his man. Wouldn't waste your time.

Sounds like a decent straight sway with Ahadme if you ask me, lets forget the feeHertsseasider said:Apter. Rubbish, runs around in rings and cant beat his man. Wouldn't waste your time.

He got league 2 young player of the year playing wing back a lot for Tranmere. He may have been playing further forward for Blackpool but definitely has played there,eastterrace6168 said:
He's a right winger, unsure what his defensive aptitude is at the moment...RC_CAFC said:Rob Apter is a lovely player. Think he’d be a great fit for RWB. Fingers crossed for this one.0 -
Great, wasn't a criticism, just an observation...🤞RC_CAFC said:

Similar to how Small played for us 👍eastterrace6168 said:

Apter looks like he’d add creativity and dribbling ability to the squad from the stats, I like the sound of him a lot more than Harris.
Made 40 league starts and 5 sub league apps last season, great to see in a 22 year old.
Left footed too so would help to replace Small.
Decent stats for chances created too.

The JRC one feels a bit like the Albie Morgan departure to Blackpool.Come through the club, played lots of games, seems well liked but is now struggling for game time and perhaps it’s the best time for all parties to move on for a fresh start.5

The mood on here is interesting. Imagine the reactions if we’d not got promoted then spent all summer buying league two players and league one players with patchy injury records.
Personally, I’m feeling pretty good about our summer business so far and happy to see us getting lots done before the summer training camp in Slovenia, but lots of our signings have something to prove so we shouldn’t get carried away. That’s actually a quality I quite like though as it was something Curbs was big on.21 -
One player I'd have been happy to see us linked with would have been Aaron Morley. I don't think I've seen him have a bad game against us or when Bolton or Wycombe have been on the tv. Can't imagine he'd cost alot either. For me, he'd be an upgrade on Doch2

Highest success rate at dribbling...Scoham said:Apter looks like he’d add creativity and dribbling ability to the squad from the stats, I like the sound of him a lot more than Harris.

.none other than Mr Ramsay6 -
Need better than him, would rather have Doc. If he comes out the team we need a big upgrade as he’s a good leader too.CAFCDAZ said:One player I'd have been happy to see us linked with would have been Aaron Morley. Apter seems like a very like for like Small replacement which is good because it means we're still looking to have that aggressively high inverted RWB position. I'm not too sure if this one will happen given he's got 3 years left on his deal and they'll likely hold out for a big fee but fingers crossed16

It's not happening thenScoham said:Rumour on the other forum 2 players have been at the training ground today, 1 to sign and the other weighing up his options as he has interest from another club.0 -

I'm assuming Ahadme with that comment?Ahadme would be the most expected departure. You are fearing T.Campbell, Jones or Coventry,
I would still class Ahadme as unexpected, seemingly been little interest in him, the wages I would think are a problem, plus his outstanding three years contract.

Honestly with Ahadme it's got last hour of the window on loan to someone in the bottom end of L1 for the season but we're paying his wages still.ElfsborgAddick said:wolfgang said:ElfsborgAddick said:ButtleJR said:interest in a lot of players, think we may see some unexpected departures.

How tall is he on the Ramsay scale though?4 -
I've been calling out for a winger who could also play in the 10, and I think Apter is that guy. Blackpool seemed to play Carey on one side and Apter on the other at points last season, but also both have played more central too2

Ahadme is going to be some poor clubs Tedic, "still need a big guy, window closes in an hour, we'll take literally anything."MarcusH26 said:
