I think we should move on now, just driven past Kenilworth Road and the place is bereft of any players.
What's left are in Slovenia hiding. Lol

Clark would be a Docherty replacement/upgrade, though I'm not sure how much of an upgrade he'd be
In my view Docherty isn't good enough for Championship
He was bang average in league one
    So I have to agree

Same here - I know there are ‘unsung heroes’  and players doing stuff that goes ‘unnoticed’ / players that ‘keep it simple’  but blimey - he must be in a league of his own in that respect

Think that’s very harsh, he improved like a lot of other players after January.
  • Heard we’re in for Dan Potts, Tom Lockyer, Amari’i Bell, Reece Burke, Gabriel Osho, Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu, Jordan Clark, Fred Onyedinma, Zack Nelson, Alfie Doughty, Cauley Woodrow, Carlton Morris, Elijah Adebayo, Louie Watson, Joe Taylor, Aribim Pepple, Admiral Muskwe, Harry Isted, Matt Macey, Cameron Jerome, Harry Cornick, Carlos Mendes Gomes and Henri Lansbury.
Louie Watson - there's a name from the past!

Remember after one pizza cup game getting into a long discussion with others about whether we should sign him as he had had such a good game!

But in the Championship, if he is captain, the benchmark is Mark Kinsella

He was technically up to it , clearly not mentally

He did improve but I just don’t see it with him - he obviously worked in the system otherwise we wouldn’t have got promoted but he was far from being a key player and he may well have been told to keep it simple but let’s be honest, he can’t do much else

Played 29 L1 games for Birmingham last season, often as the 10 or on the LW

Spent last season on loan at Brum , attacking midfielder seems very highly rated at Fulham

Would be surprised if we were in for him.

Taken from Sky Sports and would be a perm.

Only 20 so could this be the PL rumoured on the other forum? Can't see any mention of it being permanent?

Number 10 in FM who can also play CM or out wide.

Fulham probably open to letting him go permanently doesn’t look like he’d ever be good enough to make their prem squad. Surprised we’d be interested in a 10 like Harris rather than an 8 to replace Docherty. Maybe going for a very attacking midfield to compensate for a very defensive back 5

3 goals and 1 assist last season for Brum. Hardly a creative spark.

Was behind £5m of Willumson and Jay Stansfield being played as a 10 when they started Alfie or Lyndon Dykes up top so I'm not too fussed about his numbers.

Would be shocked if we could compete with either Derby or Brum for fee or wages if it's permanent.

Maybe it depends on which of the interested clubs are looking to make it permanent or just a loan. I’m guessing Fulham would probably prefer some cash.

Gone very quiet regarding Ahadme, not convinced Nathan has given up all hope on him, and we could well see him again this season...🙄
Are we playing Southend weekly ?
    No. Sheffield Wednesday.

Tweet said us, Derby and Birmingham but the actual source says just us and Derby.

Wouldn’t be my first choice but he’d be a good pick up - plenty of room to improve and be worth a lot more money 2-3 years from now.

Looking into it more he only started 10 league games for Birmingham, the other 19 league appearances were as a sub.

I don’t see where he fits in with Carey and Berry competing for the attacking midfield spot, and that does seem to be his role rather than a box to box or defensive CM like Docherty.

If it does happen it must be because we see a lot of potential in him as we have more obvious gaps elsewhere.

Don't know much about him, seems to be a mixed bag from Birmingham fans, sounds like he is a player with potential rather than one ready to make an impact now.

    Some views there.

Still think we need a lot better based on those reviews and stats, but if the fee is fair, it could be a coup.

Can write this one off, other clubs interested + no Luton connection.

  • Drameh and Harris would be decent. Leonard would be no 1 choice for me.
