Wish we had re-united with Joma.  Their kits always look class

This obsession with 'kit' launches when they only show the shirt... what colour are the shorts/socks...?
You see them briefly in the video. Light blue shorts, white socks with light blue top.
The shorts had to be black.  Light blue makes no sense at all!

I’d completely agree if light blue wasn’t one of the colours of the shirt…

Light blue shorts make no sense because it will look crap.  The black trimmings of the shirt (especially on the sides) would look much better alongside black shorts then blue socks.  Blue shorts make no sense from a design point of view.  Esp. as the shirt has multiple tones of blue - it will look messy overall

Does the shirt have multiple tones of blue? It looks like one shade of blue, one shade of silver and one shade of black to me.

Black shorts also make no sense if the third kit is all black with gold trim

Le Coq Sportif were very good.
The centenary shirt was atrocious, BUT that was probably to maximise profit due to the demand of the top.

I should add, I meant Joma's kits since their 'resurgence' - so Norwich, Hoffenheim, Swansea etc.  Joma lost the plot towards the end of our contract with them but the 2003 - 2006 kits were nice.

Agree regarding Le Coq - a proper return to footy kits would be great to see

Have to admit seeing the away in the bluewater shop it does look a lot better in the flesh and I'm tempted to get one

don't agree there - that parker / di canio era one with the loose round neck was awful

That plus the centenary kit should mean that Joma never make another kit for us

Our away kit was originally gonna be the third kit but got bumped up to being the away kit because it was much more popular. Doesn’t give me any hope for the third kit whatsoever

Managed to get to The Valley store today.

Had seen many comments about the quality not being very good - so was sceptical going to the club shop…
however, seeing them in the flesh and feeling them, the quality is very good albeit the tops feel ‘thin’ material with may contribute to people saying it’s poor quality.

Believe the kits on the shelf are the same as what the players will wear (as opposed to the whole replica vs official shirt debate in the prem) - so the material is clearly moisture wicking and ‘performance’ like.
the club badges are a few levels above what castore brought to the table - real quality badges that won’t be coming off  it he washing for at least 7 months 🤣

Modern cricket kits seem really thin and flimsy too. But then it's the nonsense, when you think of it, of fans buying performance, moisture wicking sportswear, to wear under a jacket or over a sweatshirt!

I got last season's England T20 kit super cheap when they changed the sponsor from Cinch and there is genuinely nothing to it. Although it is also made by Castore so the quality isn't fantastic.

For my home kit it's longer than Castore but also a little more "clingy," so it shows my belly a bit more...

...which is fine because I have an 8-pack of course

Must admit, have been wearing my new ‘camo’ goalies top today, I love it.

Ask me again at Christmas, and see if the letters have peeled off, don’t think the missus will let me wear it to bed.
