Good signing tbh. He looked very good for them when he was on loan there , wouldn't have minded him last summer pre Oxford but with our record with Ipswich players maybe best we didn't sign him then 😅😅😅killerandflash said:

And looks like he barely played due to injury. Be interesting to see how Birmingham manage all these attacking options.killerandflash said:

Are Birmingham not subject to FFP now they're in the Championship? That must be at least 15m they've spent this summer already.

Birmingham taking the championship seriously it seems nice signing.0
-
Yeah they can "lose" £39m across 3 seasons now. So a bit more restrictiveChris_from_Sidcup said:Are Birmingham not subject to FFP now they're in the Championship? That must be at least 15m they've spent this summer already.3 -
Of course they don't intend to be in the Championship for 3 seasons.MarcusH26 said:

Nah they'll be aiming for playoffs this season. Was the whole point of using the less restrictive League 1 rules to build a championship squad.Scoham said:

Looked him up in FM as I hadn't heard of him - like a top Champ/lower Prem standard Alfie May. Small and lacking a physical presence, but a goalscorer with a good work rate. May could seriously struggle for game time unless they pick up a few injuries.MarcusH26 said:https://www.bcfc.com/pages/en/media-article/blues-complete-signing-of-ky-go-furuhashi

Suspect he will be offloaded. He had served his purposeScoham said:

I am sure Barnsley , Doncaster , Huddersfield or Rotherham would welcome him to live near his family if his wages are subsidised.12 -
Huddersfield would be straight on the phone , I know they have Charles and Taylor but after their owners reaction last summer to not signing Alfie , he was always their No1 target.Richard J said:

Just ridiculous. It's almost like them getting relegated did them a favour.MarcusH26 said:https://www.bcfc.com/pages/en/media-article/blues-complete-signing-of-ky-go-furuhashi

Were able to splash the cash and have a championship squad romp the league.
Now they have a championship ready squad who have played a full year together and are beefing it up.
Wouldn't be surprised to see them get top2 at all if their manager can cut it in this league.4 -

Charlton vs Birmingham is going to turn into Jamaica vs Japan at this rate!18

saw him on TV a few times in his Celtic days .. very quick, he was a top striker in Scotland, will probably do well in the Champ, IF he's ever selectedMarcusH26 said:https://www.bcfc.com/pages/en/media-article/blues-complete-signing-of-ky-go-furuhashi

Norwich certainly going for it this year it seems2

Sounds like they're preparing to lose Sainz or Sargent, can't see them forking out a fee like that otherwise and having all 3, just sounds too greedy.1
-
Sargent to Leeds doesn't seem to be going away as a rumour. Daniel Farke link of course so it could be completely nonsense0
-
Sargent is a typical "in between" player like Pukki before him. Lethal in the Championship, but struggles to score in the PL.MarcusH26 said:Sargent to Leeds doesn't seem to be going away as a rumour. Daniel Farke link of course so it could be completely nonsense3 -
Couldn’t find a rumours page for other clubs but apparently Parma, Lazio, Everton and Wolves are rumoured to be interested in Millwall striker Mihailo Ivanonic0

What’s Birmingham’s record vs Villa?0

You imagine they'd make a big profit on him if he does go.SouthLondonisRed said:Couldn’t find a rumours page for other clubs but apparently Parma, Lazio, Everton and Wolves are rumoured to be interested in Millwall striker Mihailo Ivanonic0 -
If they want him they’ll have to pay big money for him. He’s only 20, we signed him on a long term contract, he scored 12 goals in what was only really half a season for him (Harris never wanted to play him for some reason and only used him as a late sub).SouthLondonisRed said:Couldn’t find a rumours page for other clubs but apparently Parma, Lazio, Everton and Wolves are rumoured to be interested in Millwall striker Mihailo IvanonicCarry on in that vein and he should hit 20 plus this season. If that happens then he’ll 15 mill plus easily. We gave 3 for him.4
