Bashir is a young player learning his craft. It is not his fault that there is a dearth of good English spinners. Personally I would pick Dawson. I would also pick Bethell for Crawley and Archer for Woakes.arny23394 said:

I'm not saying that this is our best bowling line up, because it isn't in my opinion, but there is one other aspect to this - workload.
This issue is partially down to us, ironically, scoring too quickly and also because India rested Bumrah and we didn't rest anyone. India's five bowlers at Edgbaston bowled a total of 139 overs prior to this Test and have now bowled 224 overs in total. England's front five had bowled 209 overs prior to this Test and have now bowled 421 overs in total. So, India's five main bowlers in this Test have bowled to date 212 less overs than those of England. Clearly India's bowlers will bridge that gap, to a degree, tomorrow but the differential will still be substantial.0 -
