Does anybody have any more information on this?
This year the friendly was announced as being 'behind closed doors', whereas last year the club encouraged people to attend (despite leaving it quite late) and a handful of fans from both sides were present.
I have tried contacting the club myself, but no additional information has been forthcoming.
Based on Nathan Jones' history, we can assume this game is being played in Kranjska Gora, which would mean that anybody wanting to go could still watch the game from the other side of the fence.
However, at the same time, there's nothing to say that the club will be training in Kranjska Gora, but playing the friendly elsewhere inside an actual stadium.
I'm looking at attending, but obviously don't want to spend all that money on a weekend break and not get to watch Charlton.

Well call me old fashioned but I take “behind closed doors” meaning just that. No allowance will be made for spectators and by the sound of it the club don’t want spectators there.3

It didn’t look like much it was in a stadium last year and if it is a stadium there would be high costs for what’s probably only going to about a very small amount of fans. It’s a shame but sometimes things don’t make financial senseShootersHillGuru said:

I don't know about this particular case but I think places in that region do not set themselves up as "venues" in the sense of spectator venues. I found myself on hols in a place called St Martin im Passeier in the Italian South Tyrol (just west of Slovenia) and the "venue" was right opposite our hotel, and had earlier hosted the German national team. But it really wasn't a spectator venue at all. It was all very discreet, peace and quiet, with superb climate, Alpine air you can taste.ShootersHillGuru said:

A few years back now but also game behind closed doors but no steam.fenaddick said:

Some times it’s down to local police that games go ahead behind closed doors and is advertised so . It limits people or makes them think twice attending. Sometimes venue is little more than a training ground.( Think The RACS on Footscray Rd where Millwall would train for example.
