Fantastic performance. So many stood up especially when Germany managed to get it to 2-2.

So which players we getting on loan then ;)

Great win. Another very entertaining game and always that extra bit special to beat the Germans.

    Well done Carsley

I know he is sort of one of ours but I had v little confidence in Beadle. Still, we won!!!

The 17 players that got on the pitch all contributed and the 6 subs tonight all gave energy and fresh legs to the team at a vital time when Elliott, Anderson and Hutchison were spent.
Great use of the subs by manager Carsley and big shout out to him for winning in 23 and 25 without Delap, Jobe Bellingham and Walton.

Carsley gives credit to the players and he is such a modest man who is a double winner 👏🏼

    Great squad effort.

What a good win. Against a very good German team. Expect to see players from both teams facing each other in full international matches.

Only the player of the tournament Harvey Elliott and the rock at the back Cresswell were in the squad in 23.
  • Didn't think that ticker tape thing was working at first ... it came good though.

One of the most enjoyable England teams I have ever seen…..they play some really delightful stuff.
Mind you, we should have gone in three or four nil up at halftime.
Congratulations to all you young guys and not forgetting Carsley of course.

I wish our full England team could play like the under 21’s so good to watch
May end up a shame Carsley didn't handle the 'trial period' very well after those first two games.

A shame that the seniors don't just take instruction like the young lads do.

To be fair the 2-1-7 formation was a bit nuts …

Wow... Just seen the result... Such a shame the FA and a lot of fans had such a narrow minded view towards Carsley.

I'm shocked actually we've never hosted the U21 Euros ourselves...

Magnificent performance and back to the wall at times to hang on. Great bunch of lads and listening to the post match views from the players seem pretty level headed. How many of those players did we know about pre tournament.

Well done and enjoy the moment. Loved Carsley afterwards saying there all on the 03.30 back home.
