    Really entertaining game. Spain all over us end of first half but we controlled it second half and could easily have had more.

    A most enjoyable game….both sides played some good stuff.
    Glad I decided to watch a very decent game of football.

    Por v Ned was a good game to watch. Por just seemed to expect a goal to come without working out how to break down the Dutch defence.

    Eng v Esp was fun to see, deserved win, clever subs, hard work, good goals and a fight at the end.

    Beadle made two good saves but was rarely troubled.

    Looking forward to other games.

    Bar Stansfield, Harvey and Beadle I have no idea which clubs our other players come from or if they play in their first teams.

    I have to admit I would  have laughed if the German winner had been ruled out cos the bloke down on the edge of the 6 yard box was interfering with play, but I wasn't holding my breath for it during the VAR check.

    I think that goal needs to be shown over and over again.  The sight of the mortally wounded German, lying crippled on the ground and then jumping to his feet and sprinting to the corner flag to celebrate with his team-mates was shameful, embarrassing and pathetic.  I hope they lose in the semi-finals.  

    ...of every competition they ever enter.

    Wild game in the U19 Euro's last night.

    Spain 6 Germany 5.

    Germany led 2-1 going into injury time, then Spain scored on 90+1 and 90+5 to win it. Or so they thought. Germany equalised on 90+9 and it went into extra time.

    Spain go 4-3 up, and then Germany score on 104 and 107. Surely now they've won it.

    Nope. Spain equalise on 113 and win it on 119.

    That German equaliser on 90+9 was an own goal as well. Cuenca of Spain must be very relieved that his team-mates dug him out of the shit.
