"Darren Ferguson's response to BBC Cambs Sport: "We've got some players that are in their last year and we've offered them contracts.
"It doesn't necessarily have to be a big drama. Otherwise we can lose them for nothing, like we are with Hector (Kyprianou). We don't really want to repeat that.
"All we can do is put our best foot forward. I know the offered contracts are very good, but if players say they don't want to sign then the club will see what they can get for them. And it's up to the club to accept a bid or not.
"One thing I won't do this season is stand in their way.""
"Huddersfield Town have put in a bid for Leyton Orient's Ethan Galbraith. Not sure if it is the £2.5m that has been mooted, but sounds like it's in that ballpark.
No indications at the moment whether EG is still one that #cafc are sweet on.
Don't think wages likely to be a problem, it's just how high he is up their wanted list."
"There is understood to have been interest recently in Davis Keillor-Dunn from Championship clubs Charlton Athletic and Middlesbrough – where he spent time as a junior player in their academy. But, as of earlier this week, there had been no bids as Barnsley are understood to be currently asking for a multi-million pound offer in a similar region to their highest ever sales such as £5million for the likes of Alfie Mawson and Marc Roberts."
"I’ve spoken to the person who I know at Brighton. Unfortunately not much to say in the case of Offiah. Still just saying they don’t rate him so will more than likely leave them. I’d seen someone mentioned earlier about a Brighton CB loan so I assumed that was about Cashin. He’s highly rated by their stats team but not by their manager. However, they wouldn’t really loan him out to us when he’s come Derby. More than likely to go to a Southampton or Leicester on loan or top end championship team. Sorry not much more info"

Newly-promoted Premier League side Leeds United are also among the interested parties, as are Charlton Athletic, who gained promotion to the Championship via the League One play-offs at the end of May.
The 23-year-old shot-stopper is currently valued in the region of €2m plus bonuses.
Törnqvist has kept four clean sheets from 13 top-flight appearances in Sweden so far this season, plus two from a further three outings in the Svenska Cupen, the Swedish cup.
"No, not that heard that one [Törnqvist to Charlton rumour]. Expected GK signing to be from UK. Not saying this link is wrong or right - but not a name that I'd heard until now."

"[Mothersille] Played very, very well against #cafc last season. Haven't heard if this rumour is right.
Obviously 'weighing up a move' isn't quite the same as making a move for the player."

"No contact from #cafc for Peterborough United's Malik Mothersille.
Had been a suggestion recently that QPR are prepared to pay £1m for the 21-year-old, who is due to be out of contract next summer."
