Stockport fan in piece. Some whispers going around our camp that you're about to sign our star striker tanto olaofe. You've got yourselves a beast if it's true 👍

    Facebook rumour .
He might be in piece now, but he will be in bits if we sign Tanto.

I liked what I saw of Olaofe. A good combination of size, power and speed but with good feet. Thought he was more of a forward than a striker. Not hugely impressive stats but definitely some potential there.

Needs to improve his finishing but that’s what Hylton’s for, would be a good signing
Prolific bagsman Danny Hylton to help improve a strikers finishing who struggles for goals.

I really hate saying this but I’m really disappointed so far. We should be bidding for the best players to build the best squad. Why haven’t we bid for that fella Lamine Yamal yet?

How are clubs signing players i thought they was all on holiday ? 😉
Plus the transfer window isn't open so they can't be signing anyone (back me up on this one Ronnie)

Olaofe was a striker I thought would suit Jones a few months back, but only going off his strengths in FM - quick, strong, aggressive and hard working. Now we’re in the Championship it becomes more realistic than it would have been.

I expect us to sign at least a couple of strikers with one being more physical, the other more of an alternative to TC.

From his goalscoring record it looks like he could frustrate at times but he’s 25 and had prolific seasons at lower levels, so it could click for him in the right team.

As said he came through at Millwall and was born in Lewisham, so it probably suits him off the pitch too.

He's actually quite decent tbh. Would be a good option. I can get quite a good view from one of my Stockport mates who does content for them.

I know he's quite keen on him.

    Easy song setup as well.

    "Tanto, jump on it"

If we sing Tanto, we definitely have to do the dance from the Fresh Prince

The Stockport striker would be an excellent signing , always impressed when seen him play ,, strong with excellent pace . up-grade on Aneke and would say better then Leaburn ?

Sounds like the guy who first posted this on their message board is a respected poster and normally bang on. Would be a decent signing in my opinion, always a threat, presses high, works his nuts off.

Just had a look over on their forum seems like they're eyeing up Samson Tovide from Col U as Oloafes replacement if he goes... Makes sense stylistically. If Olaofe gives us the physical presence and pressing I wonder if we go and get a younger version of Godden too? A proper six yard box sniffer dog who can learn from Godden would be ideal.

All this probably also points to Kanu potentially going out on loan even with 9 subs.

Thinking about it, with his pace, maybe he’d be the alternative to TC and we’ll sign a more traditional target man to compete with Godden and Leaburn?

That would be funny after we supposedly tried to sign Tovide, shows Jones is working to a type of striker he wants

Would really hope so godden will get his minutes probably more sparingly if reinforcements come in but still a great asset.I'd like to see someone with those sniffer dog instincts but also pace if we are going to not have much of the ball ,breaking on teams with pace and potency is a great option to have a darren bent regen would be nice.

Oh Jones definitely has a type of striker he sticks to mainly, he'll nearly always have a physical pacey target man in his sides who runs his socks off and is horrible to play against. I totally see the fit with Oloafe and I understand why Stockport would go for Tovide to replace him.

He's someone who could definitely occupy that TC striker/winger hybrid role.

I think if we want a younger Godden then Kelman fits the bill for me but like Keillor Dunn and Galbraith he's known and would cost a high fee if they were prepared to let him go. Whether we have that sort of money who knows.

Although Olaofe was born in Lewisham he attended Wilmington Grammer School so lived locally you’d have thought so probably open to a move back home.
